"Well, let me just say that John and his team absolutely exceeded my expectations - and I paid less for the project than I thought I would. I don't know how you could ask for better than that. When I asked for a roof to be built over my back deck, I was envisioning just a rough wooden roof. But they made it look like an extension of my house! It is beautiful - not rough at all. They put a metal wrap over the wooden beams - and soffit and fascia that matched my exterior perfectly. I wasn't expecting this and it blew me away. And they did it all for what they quoted me. And each member of the team has a specialty. Charlie the carpenter has the roof up in no time, Tom the painter did a beautiful job, and John, the owner, is more like an artist than a builder, and of course Maddie (the real boss). "I gathered estimates for removing our old deck and replacing it with a paver patio (including 2 walls).  Correy responded promptly to schedule an appointment to discuss what we wanted done.  He arrived on time, listened to what we wanted, and then responded quickly (via email) with a picture of what the proposed design would look like and the associated costs.   When we decided to choose Fletcher's, he came out with a sample of the pavers and also gave us and estimated start date (which was somewhere in the neighborhood of 6-8 weeks later).  Despite all of the rain that we had in late spring, they started within 1 day of the original estimate.



In our original plan, we had wanted to keep an existing pergola.  However, once the deck was torn down, it was determined that it would be, at best, a lot of extra work to keep the structure safe.  Correy was very flexible to modify what we had discussed, and he was prompt to respond with an estimate for the changes I requested.



The removal of the deck went smoothly and each day things were cleaned up and put away.  I saw Correy outside frequently during the demolition of the deck, and he was here most all of the time during the last few days of putting in the patio.  Once the dumpster was removed, he came back to sweep the driveway and make sure all was satisfactory. 



We are extremely pleased with our new patio.  I would highly recommend Fletcher's.

"Gary was a terrific service-provider from the first call forward.  Returned my request for service call promptly, met with me within days to look over the scope of the job, provided suggestions on the spot about the best way to repair what was wrong, was the only person that I brought out who recognized why rot took place at the back of the garage (faulty metal roof installation).
He gave a verbal, charge-by-the-hour estimate and stated an approximate week he would be free to tackle the job.  He came exactly when he said he would and in the span of about 2 and one half days started and finished the job.  He did as good a job on the wood repair (matching the trim, making sure to prime wood properly) as a carpenter would and he completely solved our roof issue by adding a metal stop to the back of the roof, underneath the original flashing (correcting what should have been done when the metal roof was initially installed).   He also did a wonderful job trouble shooting how to fix a decorative element in the front of the garage (a horizontal wood panel above the garage doors that gathered water from the vertical barn board siding above it).  He pulled and replaced that panel and put a drip cap type fix underneath it.
He is versatile and professional.  Worked with his father in-law on the job and had no discomfort doing a lot by tall ladder.  Did a terrific job cleaning up  by bagging all the discarded wood in heavy duty garbage bags so they could easily be placed out on the curb for garbage pick up.  Finally he also took the time to tell us that we had potential issues with carpenter ants.  Even saved the damaged wood so that my husband, who is an entomologist, could look it over and identify the type of ants.  His final price, although not inexpensive, was completely in line with the other 2 estimates I had received.  I certainly feel his work was worth it!
