"After getting a number of estimates and a number of no return calls--Danny responded right away to our request and was honest that he was committed for a number of months. He told us if we were not successful in finding a contractor for the project to reach out again after a few months. At that point, we were pretty confident we wanted to work with him after reviewing the number of excellent reviews on Angie's List. Danny and team were prompt everyday. Kept us informed throughout the process. Very responsive to any request and extremely detailed oriented. If he didn't like the look of something, he worked it to perfection. Exactly what you want in a contractor that is remodeling your home. We had a few items that needed his attention after the project was completed and he responded immediately and is working to rectify the issues. We would definitely hire him again and recommend his company to family and friends."

"Bob came out promptly, provided an estimate, and started the work in about a week. He worked around 4 or 5 hours each day, and the project took 6 working days. He was able to save enough old peach tiles to make an attractive border around the middle of the shower. The tile work is excellent and looks very nice. He cleaned up very well. There were some disturbing aspects, however. He ruined two hand towels in the bathroom by leaning the shower door on them. After he had re-installed the shower door, I noticed it was not on straight and raised concern about it. He attempted to straighten it, but it was not better. He said he would come back if it did not work out, but I did not ask him to come back for the door because I was upset that he had made new holes in the old peach tiles and didn't want him to do any further damage to these tiles which cannot be replaced. He had already broken one of these, and the extra holes cannot be covered up in any way. After he left, the sink next to the shower was clogged up. When I called him about the sink, he said that he wasn't anywhere near the sink and wasn't responsible for it being clogged up. He had only washed his hands in it. I think he should have taken responsibility for the clogged drain and asked his plumbing colleague to unclog it. Instead, I hired a plumber to fix it, which cost me an extra $160.91. When asked why the sink was clogged, the plumber told me it was quite puzzling, as there were pieces of ground cement in it. I then called the shower door company and ended up having to get a new shower door for $368, as they would have charged me $299 to come out and reinstall the old one. While I am now pleased with the finished product, it took two additional companies and an extra $528.91 to complete it."

"We've used Jaime about 10 times. . . . .we don't feel there is anyone else worth calling in the area, can do it all. Ran new electrical box to wall and installed electric fireplace in our finished basement side. Jaime had to get creative as the wall was discovered to be solid and not regular drywall. But he does it like it's nothing. Thanks again."

"Matt Puskus is a problem-solving professional. He found a simple, cost-effective solution to a bathroom shower problem that others said would cost me several thousand dollars. And he allowed me to keep the integrity of the beautiful tile originally installed 60 years ago. He is professional, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he is a man of integrity who takes pride in his craft and workmanship. The shower is back in use and my problem is solved. I am exceptionally pleased with his quality and approach to problem solving. I plan to hire Matt Puskus for any future repairs that my home requires."

"I Hired Buckeye Waterproofing because they did my son and daughter in laws house and they were very pleased and the basement looked great. I was nervous I'm an older man if I could've done it myself I would've but i'm glad I didn't. My basement was leaking had mold, a wall moving, and cracks. it was in awful shape and completely unusable. Rick came out and gave me an estimate which I felt was fair due to the horrible condition of the basement. I hired them right away and they got the job started right away. Rick came out with a crew of 4 guys the day the job was set to start. He explained everything to me went over the details I was able to tell him specifics I wanted they set up plastic so my stuff wouldn't get dirty and plastic hanging in the doorways so it wouldn't get the other room's  dirty. They also set up tarp to walk on so my floors didn't get dirty. They also set ply-wood on the lawn so the machine didn't ruin my lawn. Over a period of 4 days they waterproofed my basement from the outside and installed 6 structural straps from the inside. The sprayed mold removal on the walls and scrubbed them. They also filled in all the cracks with  mortar. The waterproofing fixed the leaking, the straps prevented the wall from moving more. I haven't had a problem since and i'm finally able to use my basement. I couldn't be more grateful and happy I hired them.

"Cassidy arrived on time.  He investigated the problem and advised me that air cleaning filter was not operating.  He showed me what the problem was. I decided that the best thing to do was to use a pleated filter, he showed me how to install one.  He was very knowledgeable and polite.  I told him that we would be happy to use RTT heating in the future.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Many parts of your plumbing system can fail, but clogged drains are one of the biggest plumbing problems you’ll likely encounter. From your kitchen sink, bathroom sink, or bathtub, there are plenty of opportunities for gunk, hair, food scraps, and more to get stuck in drains. When this happens, water will slowly drain, leading to standing water, bad odors, drain flies, and other issues.

Many homeowners can handle a minor clog themselves, but if you have a clog in your main line, you’re best off hiring a local plumber to get the drain back to its normal flow rate.

A well-installed wall-mounted faucet shouldn’t splash. That’s why it’s worth hiring someone with experience installing wall-mounted faucets. Beyond the installation, you should carefully choose the right faucet and sink combination. If your sink splashes after installation, you can try installing an aerator, which lowers the amount of water coming out of the faucet.

Touchless faucets are reliable. However, proper maintenance is necessary to keep them running flawlessly. Keep the nozzle area and sensor clean to promote the best functionality. Additionally, consider where the touchless faucet you choose gets its power. Battery-operated models will need regular battery replacements to ensure reliability, and the touchless function won't work in a hardwired version during a power outage.

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

A good option for opening up and cleaning a sink drain is to use a ¼ cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar, along with a rubber stopper to cover the drain while those materials work their magic. After about 15 minutes, you can flush the drain with hot water. In many cases, these materials can scrub out minor clogs and get the drain working properly again. If the issue persists, call in a plumber near you to get the problem permanently fixed.
