- T K Home Inspection LLCFrom the start TK inspection made themselves a one stop shop for all my inspection needs with competitive pricing. Their website is very user friendly and staff is responsive. Nick, our inspector, was terrific- thorough, considerate, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Turn around time for report is exceptionally fast and also comes in a user friendly format. I feel confident about our new home purchase. I’d recommend TK Inspection for ALL your inspection needs
- WyattWorks PlumbingRicky did an outstanding job at our home! He performed a detailed root cause analysis and subsequently replaced the toilet as the best way to solve the clogging. Ricky was transparent along the process and explained each step in detail. He was also very respectful to our family environment and in line with COVID guidelines. Well done
- Tim Frank Septic Tank Cleaning CoI could not have been more pleasantly surprised to have this company come out and solve our septic issues. I talked to Carol in the morning and she had Don and Dave come out to diagnose and solve our septic tank issues in the afternoon. The septic tank needed to be cleaned but more importantly, the septic pump was broke and Don and Dave fixed it so the system works perfectly now. They explained to me how the entire system is working and that there is an alarm system that needs to be set correctly inside the house. We move to the Cleveland area from Chicago about 2 years ago and we had minimal knowledge on all these septic items. Again, Don and Dave did a great job with their work while Carol helped me isolate what might be the problem over the phone when I first talked to her. Hats off to all these folks and I could not be happier with this company
- T K Home Inspection LLCSaved my thousands that I would have had to pay if not for the inspections learned my lesson to always get an inspection
- Allen Drain Service IncI called and they had availability the next morning. Scott came out and was very professional, knowledgeable and took care of our needs. I would definitely call and ask for Scott again.
- Approved Plumbing CoSharon from their company was very professional, laid out the terms, and made arrangements for an appointment for a service call within a short period of contacting them. She quoted a price for the service call and indicated that additional costs would be quoted on a per job basis. Frankly, if it had not been for Sharon's involvement, I don't think I would use this company again in the future. While she was professional and helpful, the service technician was less so and I was very disappointed in how he handled the service call. He arrived timely, I explained what was needed, and he then told me that the charge would be at an hourly rate rather than a flat rate. I contacted Sharon and she indicated that they would ensure everything was handled consistently with what she had told me. He stated that this would save me money in the long run. I disagreed-especially when this job involved turning on the well and then running water at each faucet to make sure it was working. A good deal of his time was spent walking up and down the steps and around the house turning on faucets and checking toilets. I could have easily done this myself and saved money. I also expected him to have drained the lines that had antifreeze in them prior to running the water. This did not happen at all-he just turned the water on. A second issue was that he told me he needed fuses to start the well pump and he did not have them. I had to make a quick trip to a hardware store to buy what he needed. When I returned, he had opened up the septic tank covers and looked at the components and removed the sump pump from the pit. I didn't ask him to do this so I was surprised that he had done so. I suppose I should give him credit for making use of his time while I was getting the fuses. Lastly, I asked him to look at the hot water heater and he attempted to re-connect some wiring. I later found the wiring diagram for this model and found he had connected the bottom thermostat incorrectly which probably explains why the breaker kept flipping for it. Finally, he left his gloves and the box from the fuses on the floor and made no effort to clean up or replace the covers on the septic tank. Small matters, but I was surprised by this after reading what a great job other techs have done elsewhere. They did honor the Angie's List coupon discount. Overall, I believe that my experience would likely have been better with a different technician. If it hadn't been for Sharon's involvement, I think I would have ended up being very dissatisfied with my experience. This was a good learning experience for me and I'll know how to better prepare for a plumber's visit in the future. I've given an overall A rating because I believe my situation with this service tech may have been unusual given the circumstances, and Sharon did everything she could do as far as following up and making an effort to represent their company professionally
- Reliable ExcavatingThe job went well. The job required The investigation of odd sinkhole along septic system. Needed to rule out any septic system compromise. The job turned out to be bigger than originally thought. Luckily the system was not compromised. Jordan was very professional. The site was cleaned left in good condition
- WyattWorks PlumbingDid a fine job! The price was well worth it. Very efficient, punctual, and just nice people. The two sons of the original owner came out to do the work and were very nice.
- WyattWorks PlumbingLate on a Friday night, out hot water tank broke. We were resigned to spending the weekend taking showers elsewhere until we could get an appointment early next week. However, we were very fortunate in contacting WyattWorks Plumbing who sent a technician that same day. I assumed he would order a new hot water tank and return on Monday or Tuesday to finish. In fact, Benjamin installed a new one immediately on a Saturday late afternoon and early evening. He was knowledgeable, skilled, clean, and courteous. Couldn't have asked for more! We highly recommend this company
- WyattWorks PlumbingWhatever would cause someone to hug their plumber after he'd been working on your sewer all day? Well, I just hugged mine! Wyatt Works was not a company that was known to me prior to having a completely blocked line that threatened to overflow from the basement drain whenever anyone flushed a toilet or emptied a sink. For over a year we had been experiencing sewer smell, drain flies, and other indicators of a plumbing nightmare. We had another company come out to unblock the line last year, which charged us a lot of money before telling us that the hydrojetting they did (with a massive machine brought in on a trailer that vibrated so much it cracked our garage floor) didn't work - then left. So we knew we had "issues." Wyatt Works was courteous, professional, committed to solving the problem, and considerate of our yard and our home. Ben is an amazing plumber but most of all, a really straightforward, kind, sincere person. These guys worked very hard, explained everything to me (and again to my husband when he came home), gave us 'bad' news in a highly sympathetic way, and best of all - fixed the problem. They cleaned up, left much less dust than I expected, and were careful to hang plastic to minimize exposure to jackhammer dust so as not to aggravate my asthma. They even noticed that a toilet was running off the hook and fixed it before leaving! I can't recommend them highly enough. Yes, it was expensive. We thought the price was very fair considering that a septic subcontractor was also involved and there was a lot of labor associated with the job. It's a real relief to know it was done right. Call these guys, seriously

- Business Description:"Treat your clients the same way you would expect to be treated. It's a simple concept that we have lived by since we first started doing business." Award winning. 0% Financing Available. All major credit cards accepted. 25+ years in businessRecent Review:Sitework Development Inc was one of a number of companies we looked at to replace a storm sewer drain that had been connected to our sanitary sewer lateral pipe. This was not in compliance with current regulations. To address this, the work required a connection to a new storm lateral that ran approximately 80 feet across our front yard and through a flower bed where several plants and a mature Japanese tree were growing. Other firms offered completely unacceptable approaches to address our problem. James B the firm's general manager confidently proposed a solution that was efficient and effective. We were blown away by the professionalism, effectiveness and friendliness of the team he assigned to work with us. They worked meticulously; tying off trees in their path, avoiding gas lines and repairing underground irrigation lines. The team left the work site clean each day with hardly a trace from the street that they were working. Our hats off to the Ryan and Carl in this regard. The entire project took less than a week. None of our plants were damaged. Our beloved Japanese maple still stands. Now we have a new drain compliant with the regulations. This was an excellent experience. We highly recommend this companyjames r.

Further Coupon Description: Let us help transform your remodeling dre..Recent Review:The team at Lost Pond is professional, first class and truly top of the line. Our experience with them was great. We had LP design, demo and remodel our 20 year old master bathroom. Prior to brining in LP, I had received quotes from two other remodel companies.. Both were professional and both provided quotes as to the work that was going to be done. I then reached out to LP and was put in contact with Jeff Tortorea. Jeff asked a different questions over the phone of the work that we were looking for and then explained the way that LP does business. LP does prefer to design first, quote a job, then provide project timelines. The reasoning behind doing it this way is to have the least disruption to the day to day life of the homeowner by having the entire project planned in advance -- from demo, to plumbing, electric, countertops, shower, etc... After hearing Jeff explain this, I told him (after speaking to my wife) that we would go with them. The team that Jeff has is great as well. From Liz who worked with us prior to design, to Andrea who really helped us see what the new bath would look like and provided unbelieveable suggestions on tile, colors, etc to the top of the line Project Manager, Ric --- the team was great. Many buyers and reviews you find on Angie's list have statements around the contractor being unorganized, unresponsive, etc.. That is not the case with LP. The responsiveness of the entire team was literally almost immediate. Even when someone texted Ric at 9pm at night regarding what kind of lightbulb to get for the bathroom -- he responded almost immediately. The quality of contractors that LP brings in are great as well. LP team will do the demo, but there are certain folks - tile contractors, plumbers, painters, electricians - that are subbed out. The subs that LP uses do a heck of a job, communicate well and do quick, quality work. The ENTIRE LP team cares about their customers, their customer's satisfaction (even warranties on the work) and the end product their delivering. I would highly recommend Liz, Andrea, Ric and the team to any person that is looking for a quality, high end company that wants a job done efficiently and correctlyPete T.

But he wrote a "not to exceed" quote and told us that, unless his guys had to do a lot of digging, the work would cost much less. I know this because I took notes while he was talking.I don't know if their quality of work is good, or exceeds good to be excellent. They did well, so I gave them an "excellent" grade. They were professional and appeared thorough. But they did not do a lot of digging.I was therefore unhappy when I received a bill for the "not to exceed" amount (and no AL discount, as they advertise). I called them, and they knocked off $50, but I came away with a slightly negative feeling about the company. (If the man writing the quote had simply said, "it's going to be 700", I wouldn't have blinked and would have paid without a quibble. Certain expectations are set up, however, when one is told a quote is NTE and depends on certain factors.JOHN AND IVY R.

- Business Description:Septic cleaning, installation. Pump repair, pump installation. Aerator pump installed, waterproofing, sewer jetting, sewer cameraingRecent Review:Here's the background - a new septic tank was installed by Steigerwald just prior to my purchase of the home in late 2011. Since then my dealings with them have been primarily maintenance issues.
That said, they've been doing a great job. They did a very professional job installing the system and when there have been problems - for example, we think a deer may have stepped on the failsafe switch for the UV, causing the alarm to trigger. Steigerwald was there right away and took care of it. So far, after a year and a half I only have good things to say. <br /Ed E.

I didn't bother checking the next day, but later I discovered it was drenched. Then, because of the warm weather, I was concerned about the possibility of mold. Ken & Diane came out and confirmed everything was ok, and suggested I get a handyman to come out and fix things once they dry out. They told me they thought it could be clogged downspouts from shingles falling apart. They were wonderful!!!

We did have another company to come out and extract the water, but just wanted to have Water Extraction Team check and make sure everything was okay (we used the other company 1st because we'd heard from someone else that they had 24 hour service, and we wanted to get the water removed asap). Now that we had the Water Extraction Team come out, we learned they also have 24 hour service, so would call them immediately in the future. They were fabulous from beginning to endSara P.

We offer a free mainline camera inspection with every estimate, at no cost and no obligationRecent Review:They were great. Always professional and helpful, answered all of my questions (and my young kids' questions). They took their time with me and didn't pressure into more work than was needed. Their price was very fair. (I got 3 addition quotes after a big name national company that rhymes with Woto Wooter quoted $40,000...) They did exactly what they said they would, and when they said they would do it. They even leveled out a spot that another company left when they dug up our yard three years ago. They were great to work with. I hope we don't need they're services again soon, but if we do we'll definitely be repeat customersKatherine G.

Our professional service, quality products and honest, up-front pricing make Mr. Rooter the best value in plumbing services nationwide. Mr. Rooter is ready for all emergency plumbing issues, from clogged drains and sewage backups to frozen pipes ..Recent Review:I was not real pleased with them. It started with the sewer backed up into our basement. Then we had them come out and run a camera in the system to find where the problem was. They didn’t have a definite answer for that, but they suggested we dig it up. Once they replaced it, which they seemed to have done an adequate jog replacing it; they were extremely pushy trying to sell further services. They wanted me to replace more than just from the house to the street. They wanted to go up to the house and do a lot of excavation under the foundation that really wasn’t necessary. When I looked at the camera work it showed that those areas where they were trying to get me to change, were cleaned and opened. There was no need to do the extra work and they were very pushy about trying to get me to go for the extra work.Bruce D.
