Affordable Handyman has handled jobs as large as 2 remodeled bathrooms to installing vinyl plank in our basement. Communication is excellent. You will know where he is throughout the job. He has reasonable pricing and does quality work. Highly recommended his services for any job.

Taber Ross of 1st Affordable Handyman was contracted to install marble mosaic tile on 2 fireplace surrounds. He installed one product backwards with the plastic facing [used to hold the tile pattern together] directly on wet mortar. When questioned, he insisted it was correct, that he was the expert, and that the visible mesh and saw marks could be removed with a wet cloth. He refused to replace the cut and now useless tile, and wanted more money to fix the job. When we said no to those terms, he grew angry, called us scammers, and left while telling us that we had to pay the remaining 50% balance plus a 10% per day penalty. Neither fireplace surround was finished. Photos are a picture from the tile brochure showing how the polished side of the tile should look when installed properly. Three pictures of the 1st Affordable Handyman/Ross installation show the unpolished, saw-scarred, and mesh-backed tiles facing forward.

Taber did an excellent job with all our projects. From rebuilding and painting just the bottom half of a crumbling bathroom wall to cement work on front steps to painting a ceiling and more, we are really impressed with his work. He’s a stand up guy, treats you fairly, and does excellent work. He can be booked weeks in advance since his clients value him. But if you can manage to be patient, then you will find yourself the handyman you wish you’d have found years ago. Wife and I are already planning our next project with him.

Excellent!! They arrived early, cleaned up after themselves (very important to me),worked diligently. Taber worked with me and pointed out the best application of the tile as opposed to just doing what the consumer wanted because the customer is always right. My backsplash is BEAUTIFUL!! I will definitely use this company again and make referrals when able.

Great. He replaced the tile quickly and it looks perfect. Grout is well matched. He also replaced a drain for me. He also rebuilt a step in my backyard on my deck that was rotten and dangerous so that it could be safe again. He has good skills and is always prompt. He also has great communication skills. He is a great handyman.

It went okay for a mobile home. Maybe if it was a house it would be different. The structure of a home is different than a mobile home. He did my whole house flooring and new cabinets a couple years ago. Great job there.
