"OK, long review here, but Tree Images totally deserves it! Their crew recently did an AMAZING job taking out and trimming 3 large trees in my barely accessible backyard. If I could give this company more than 5 stars, I’d give them an 11 on a scale of 10. From my first phone call to Eric to schedule their estimator Tony’s visit, to the actual hard work by crew leader Joey and his team Scott, Kevin, Francisco, and Rogelio, this company is a TOTAL class act –everyone I dealt with was professional and knowledgeable, willing to answer all my questions, skillful, efficient and thorough…..plus personable and friendly on top of all of that : ) In the past I’d had bad experiences with tree companies’ work and billing practices, so I asked friends and neighbors for their recommendations. Tree Images got highest recommendation from a friend who had hired them to take down trees in very tight spaces. Some other companies wouldn’t even quote me when they saw the extremely narrow path between my house and my neighbor’s home, said they couldn’t get any equipment in. But Tree Images brought in an awesome piece of machinery, an impressive Spider Lift that was narrow enough to squeeze between houses and access my backyard (see my pics). The crew was so efficient and skillful that the job was completed, even down to a beautiful clean-up, in a little less than 5 hours. Team leader Joey and his crew were just fascinating to watch – an extremely well-practiced team, all in perfect sync with one another, doing the hard work efficiently and safely. And they were VERY careful to protect small understory plantings from the Spider and from the roped limbs coming down, as well as protecting my neighbor’s lawn with plywood sheets laid down for moving the 3+ ton Spider between houses. A MOST EXCELLENT job and all for a VERY REASONABLE COST, with no billing surprises….I was charged the same amount as Tony’s estimate. Tree images will most def be my go-to team for any future tree service…an EXCEPTIONAL experience, and I've already recommended Tree Images to friends and neighbors. MANY THANKS, guys!"

"George and his crew were on time and did a great job. When they left the yard looked the same as it was when they got there. They were about 70 feet tall and crew a great job. Would hire them again in a heartbeat and will again this fall for my Bradford tree in front yard."

"Mike and AM Tree and Landscaping were wonderful! They listened to our concerns, made suggestions and explained WHY they were going to trim the way they did. They touched base with us regularly to make sure we were all on the same page! They went above and beyond what tree services we’d ever had before! Clean up was spot on and all at a very reasonable price. We definitely recommend them to everyone!"

"Timber Professionals understands customer service! Nick was quick to respond to my inquiry; gave me a very competitive quote; and did an outstanding job removing two trees that were too close to my house, along with stump removals. No damage, hard-working, and they took every precaution to protect my property. I called two other local 'big names' in the area for quotes. One was much higher priced (after waiting 3 days for an emailed quote) and couldn't schedule me in for at least 4 weeks... the other took all my info but never called me back. Nick responded promptly, was on-site the next day and gave me a written quote on the spot. He and his crew showed up a few days later, precisely on time and got right to work. Nick is a veteran and a trained arborist. His knowledge, honesty and integrity showed at every step. I will definitely hire Timber Professionals the next time I need tree services!"

"We get CLS twice a year to do clean up. They get it done quickly in a day and the beds look new. We have also had them do projects (re-lay walkway, added stairs of a deck etc) They are always very prompt with their estimates; time to do the job and cleanup. Payment process is easy too. They have even helped us find resources when a job wasn’t in their scope of work. They are our first stop when we consider doing any yard projects."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

If tree branches cross well into your property line, in many cases, these branches become part of your property, and you can trim them up until your neighbor’s property line. However, this issue will vary based on local ordinances, so you should do your research before making any decisions. Better yet, speak with your neighbor about how to handle any tree issues.

If you don’t mind the branches, you can leave them be, but if they’re becoming a hazard, it’s definitely worth having a conversation.

There are a few differences between tree guying and tree staking. Tree guying requires anchor stakes that are shorter and stronger than regular stakes and are driven deeper into the ground at an angle away from the tree. Tree staking uses longer stakes that are set parallel to the tree and are used for smaller trees. Consult a local tree professional to determine which method is best for your tree.

The lifespan of a bird's nest depends on the species. The building process can take from two days to three weeks. Once built, the nesting period for baby birds can last from two to ten weeks before they leave the nest. While most young birds are ready in two to six weeks, some predatory species may need up to two and a half months. Some species nest four to five times per year, so a nest could remain in use for several months. For specific information about a particular nest's longevity, it is best to consult a wildlife professional.

While trees can grow in the curb strip between the sidewalk and the street, this placement often poses the problem of interfering with overhead power lines. It’s best to consult your local utility provider and tree planting service before transplanting a tree that might grow into power lines. Also, you should never work within 20 feet of a live power line to avoid the risk of electric shock. Tree branches should never touch nearby power lines, so it’s essential to ensure your tree isn’t in danger of growing too close to them.

Trees should be pruned every two to five years, depending on its age and type. Young trees should be inspected and pruned every two to three years. Mature trees should be inspected and trimmed every three to five years, and fruit trees should be pruned annually with a careful eye on seasonal growth. Evergreens typically don’t need pruning, unless branches or limbs are damaged, diseased, or harboring pests.
