Very well. The owner, Dave, is very knowledgeable and professional. We had some trees that weren’t looking so good and he educated us on some things we can do to see if they're health will return. I appreciated that his approach is to return trees to health (if possible) vs just cut down. One tree that was definitely dead and needed cut down, they took out without any issue. It required crane work and they did an exceptional job. We will definitely use Chief Beaver for any future tree trimming and removal needs, as well as recommend them to friends and family.

He is wonderful. The price was very fair. They sent 5 guys out to do the job. They got the job done over 3 days. I would use them again.

First an arborist surveyed the trees around the house and provided a firm bid to take down 22 ash trees that might fall on the house.
A crew of three took down 22 ash trees that were dead or dying. A "cherry picker" was used to get up high enough to trim off the higher branches and reduce the tree height to about 20 feet so it could be dropped to the ground. The leaves and small branches were chipped and blown into the heavily wooded area around the house; this was my choice instead of hauling the chips away. As requested, the tree trunks and heavier branches were cut into 8-12 foot lengths and stacked near my existing firewood piles. I will be cutting and splitting the wood myself.
These trees were relatively close to the house and nothing hit the house. They did a nice job of cleaning up the leaves, small branches and chips.  The crew was always friendly and polite. I can recommend Chief Beaver for anyone needing to take down trees.

Their cleanup after removing the trees was neat and very thorough.  After removing the two trees they came back a week later to remove the tree stumps.  This work was done well - they went down deep into the ground and removed the stumps.

We use them all the time and they are very good. They are very nice and I will use them again in the future.

We use them a lot. We have a lot of trees in our backyard and woods. They are very efficient. They have the proper equipment to grind everything. They take the wood away with them. We have used them for a number of years. Their customer service is good. Sometimes they are busy and it takes a couple of days for them to return our call. Their price is maybe a bit higher than some. But they do good work and you can trust them.

I had a very large elm tree that was extremely close to the house and appeared to be decaying. I got the names of four companies and had estimates. Chief Beaver was the second lowest, but since I had received an extremely high recommendation from some acquaintances, I decided to use them. Because there had been a very bad storm with many trees down in my area two days before I contacted David, it was about two weeks before mine could be scheduled. They arrived at 8:30 AM and brought a large crane which they placed on plywood which they provided. The tree was removed very quickly with no damage to my house or yard. They loaded large logs in a trailer which they hauled off. The remaining branches were put into a shredder. They raked all the leaves and small pieces, and before they left, they wanted to make sure I was satisfied. They were finished in less than four hours. David's father came out two days later to grind the stump. I will absolutely use them again and would highly recommend the company to anyone needing tree work.

THESE GUYS WERE GREAT!! THE TREES WERE COMPLETELY DEAD AND LEANING INTO SEVERAL NEIGHBORING YARDS, AND OVER THE FENCES; THEY MADE SURE THAT NO ONE'S PROPERTY WAS DAMAGED AT ALL. AFTER THEY WERE FINISHED, DAVID'S DAD CAME OVER AND GROUND DOWN ALL OF THE STUMPS, USING A BARRIER SO THAT THE WOOD CHIPS WOULDN'T GO INTO MY NEIGHBORS' YARDS. BEST PRICE IN TOWN! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
