"I just had days appliance repair fix my washer. I am very happy with their service. The guy was on time, went straight to work, was extremely professional, and had my washer fixed in about 20 minutes. I had a big sewing needle stuck in my pump, I had NO idea what was going on, he fixed it right away. There was no surprise fees, the total was what I expected, and I'm very happy. His name is Craig, he's very professional and friendly and I highly recommend this business. Thanks again Craig/days appliances!"

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. In October of 1996, Darren Hoelle founded Hoelle Construction. Over the years he has formed great relationships with many customers. Darren tries to return every phone call within one hour - the business phone is answered 24 hours a day, everyday by an answering service; if there are ever any emergencies. We have reputation for being highly organized, knowledgeable, always being prompt and being trustworthy. From a 20 minute repair to a major restoration, our goal is to meet all of your needs. Our work is done by employees, not subcontractors, so you will know everyone who comes into your home or office. 2008 years of experience

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"We bought a number of appliances for our remodeled kitchen 6 years ago. They sold us on Bosch as high-end, German-made products. When we had our second repair issue with our dishwasher, I had to go to the store. Fortunately, Reese was the one who heard my concerns. He contacted the area manager for Bosch, and more that just the perfunctory apologies, Bosch was willing to sell us a new unit for a greatly reduced price and Appliance Loft somehow waived the install fee. They stand behind their products; don't let the price enticements from the big box stores lure you because this store truly stands behind their products and sales pitch."

"Horrible! I will never again purchase anything from Lowes in Florence, Ky. From day one this purchase was an absolute circus. The sales associate put my purchase in as taking my washer and dryer with me. I don’t have a truck! It took 2 days shy of 2 weeks to receive the units. Here’s the kicker. The delivery personnel did not have the dryer cord or hose I purchased with the dryer. I have to wait another day to have that installed. An absolute headache for 1,500.00. I implore you to not purchase any appliances from Lowes in Florence, Ky. I would write the whole experience but it’s just too much. Im so DONE with this store. Poor customer service and delivery was absolutely horrible all the way around. First and last buy from this store!"

"The carpet is of high quality but the installation was problematic. The installation was delayed by several hours. They wanted to reschedule because their van broke down. The installers who finally arrived were nice enough but spoke limited English so communication was a challenge. They put tools on our new hardwood floors which caused scratches. The carpet was all installed and some seams are very visible in some locations including the middle and sides of the master bedroom. There is an object under the carpet on the stairs that left a bump and I expect it is a trimming from the carpet they accidentally covered. The carpet isn't properly attached to the stairs and was completely loose in some areas. They left a few black stains on the carpet. Customer service was poor. They made an appointment to send someone out and never showed up to two appointments. When the representative made the appointment, he had no knowledge of carpet installation and possible fixes. They finally sent out repair people who had no knowledge of what needed to be fixed despite the installer's representative's appointment to go over each issue. The two repair people brought scissors, a stapler, and lighter fluid. They wanted to cut the carpet on the seams to make it look better. They only had lighter fluid to clean the stains and said they were concerned that would ruin the carpet. They put a few staples in and left the stains and seams as they were. We told them to stop cutting once we saw their fix in progress. We called to share our dissatisfaction with Lowe's and the installer. The issue has never been resolved. It has been a very time-consuming process and neither the store nor the installer seems interested in making it right."

Appliance Sales questions, answered by experts

Often, a repairperson who comes to your home will advise you on whether to replace or repair an appliance. If the repair cost is high and only slightly extends the appliance's longevity, the repairperson may recommend a replacement. Keep in mind that if you decide to buy a new appliance, you’ll likely still have to pay the repairperson for their time and assessment.

The magnetron is one of the most common components to fail first in a microwave. When the magnetron fails, the microwave can no longer heat food. Other frequently failing parts include the door switch, which prevents the microwave from operating if the door is not securely closed, the light bulb, and control panel buttons that may stop responding over time.

Electric fireplaces give off more heat than you might think. Because they don’t lose heat through a ventilation system, which is required for wood-burning and gas fireplaces, they’re able to disperse more heat into the room. However, many electric fireplaces are limited to a max of 5,000 or 5,200 BTU heat output, and you can get more from traditional fireplaces.

It can be less expensive to buy kitchen appliances in a bundle compared to the price of buying each appliance at a separate store or on different occasions. That’s because some retailers offer discounts averaging around 10% to 20% for appliance bundles. Plus, you could increase the savings if you purchase appliances in a bundle during holiday sales or other discount events.

DIY is possible for basic cleaning. Professional services ensure thorough inspection and safe operation.
