The project went very well. Took three days. Darren and his team arrived promptly at 6:45am each day and went right to work. They were very careful to protect the other areas of the home. Very efficient workers; I never saw any goofing off with any of them. I felt very comfortable having Darren and his workers in our home even when we weren't there for part of the time. The work done was topnotch and the bathroom looks amazing!

Made appointment to show tile samples, paint colors. Told when they could schedule the work and how long it would take. Arrived on time on the appointed day. Completed the job in the amount of time quoted. Replaced all fixtures...including toilet, sink..., replaced all tile in the shower, replaced floor in shower, light in shower, floor in bathroom, molding around floor, sink and counter and vanity,,etc. .Also, did a couple of other small jobs I had requested. Bathroom looks great, looks like it belongs in a new house, not a house that is 50 years old.

It went well with a few minor changes but overall well done.

Hoelle construction was always punctual and the job finished on time, which we greatly appreciated. Darren Hoelle was the only bidder who realized that the hot water heater vent ran up through the wall that needed to be knocked down. He took very careful measurements and made several decorating suggestions, all of which were spot on. The bathroom turned out beautifully, as did the adjoining bedroom. Hoelle constructions quote wasn't the lowest quote but the difference in cost was more than balanced by the team's punctuality and professionalism. Hoelle also came recommended by friends of ours.

Darren and his co-worker were prompt, courteous, and very efficient. Darren worked us into his schedule very quickly. We were scheduled for 6:45 AM and they showed up exactly on time. While they were here they took measurements for a full bathroom remodel. We look forward to that project as well.

It went well and to spec. Darren Hoelle was professional in all respects, arguably to a fault. At times, I wish he would be more receptive to my ideas/requests. Notwithstanding, he estimated a 1.5 week job and completed it on time. With my daughter being due, that was very important to me! Did additional repair work @ reasonable cost. Floor tile grout had unexpected calcification. Darren provided a special cleaner to address it and offered to engage manufacturer.

They came out the day after I called and replaced the garage door opener. Both men were very friendly and professional.

Just completed my bath remodel and I couldn't be happier. Arrived every day promptly at 7 AM - worked diligently during the day and left the place as clean as possible afterwards. Gave me good suggestions about the remodel. Very responsive to emails and calls. Very pleased with the finished bathroom.

The quality of work was outstanding, Darren was quick to respond and quick to help out. They finished ahead of schedule and with a minimum of disruption. We even called him because we changed our mind on a fixture we had chosen, and he came back out and replaced it. We were extremely pleased with the entire experience.

The planning, preparation, and actual remodeling took several visits, and Darren and his crew were excellent in every respect. Communication was prompt and clear, and the work was done professionally. We did not have to clean up anything when they were done. (By the way, we also suffered some damage to the fascia/siding of our house during a wind storm during that same time, and Darren took care of that immediately, even though that was totally unplanned, obviously.) Very pleased with him and his service!

They charge me alot of money. they put the cheapest materials in to my house like my shower. They took advantage of me.

The price was great. I had bids on that job and he came way lower than the other person. The work that he did was top-of-the-line work and actually went out of his way to save me money. He looked for better deals in buying some bathroom vanity. He did a great job and it was really good price.

Finished ahead of schedule, kept things clean, were early or on-time and were courteous and really good communication.

I had to put my bathroom remodel on hold for a couple of family emergencies.  Darren was very patient with me which I 
appreciated.   When the project got underway, the crew was prompt, did their work, and was done in two and a half days.  I love my bathroom.  They did a super job.   I highly recommend them and will call on them again for future projects.  

We were very satisfied with their work then, and that's why we hired them again. The price included replacing the floor on the deck, 13 steps, and the railing. They were good. They worked with us on a schedule, in between our vacations.

Hoelle  Construction - seasoned professionals provided quality construction services. Crew on time everyday; respectful and tidy; cleaned up at the end of each shift. Asked questions about plan when in doubt and offered insights into how to make project better. Loved working with them!

We bought a 30+ year old house that had been neglected.  It was filthy, (mice living in the kitchen cabinets, disgusting carpet, etc.) and really needed updating.  The small number of updates made were cheaply done and horribly designed.  We had 3 companies come out to give estimates to remodel.  We wanted multiple walls removed, a complete remodel of the kitchen and master bath, all new flooring on the main floor, and a stone fireplace (upgraded from old green tile) remodel. One guy came in and was  a little salemanish, had all these ideas but then never submitted a quote.  Almost felt that job may have been too big for him. The second guy seemed knowledgable, was personable but maybe a little less professional and quoted significantly higher than Darren.  Darren was clearly very knowledgable in construction. He's a focused guy, kinda all business but good at what he does. He was the only one who called out all the problems we would have by removing one of the main walls we wanted to remove.  He showed us based on the thickness of the wall and what was above it and below it that all our ductwork for the upstairs was running in that wall. And the only choice would be to re-route the ductwork to an exterior wall which he would not do from an energy efficiency standpoint...and I believe code. He didn't tell us what we wanted to hear to get the job, he basically said we'd be in a lot of trouble trying to take down that wall and really didn't want to quote it.  We really appreciated that...it saved us a ton of money and headache had we attempted it.  
We committed to the job in late March I believe and told him we wanted it started the first of May right after we closed on the house. My family was moving up from NC at the beginning of June and the moving truck would be hitting at that time.  We wanted everything possible done before that.  He said everything but countertops and some finishing touches would be done in that time and he delivered.
Kitchen:

- new 42" cabinets and new island/lower cabinets- moved dishwasher into island at our request due to layout (otherwise would have had stove, dishwasher and sink all right next to each other...3 appliances in a row)

Mater Bath

- removed wall between shower room and sink room to open space
- re-routed plumbing to move toilet over about 12 inches so shower could be widened

- removed old green tile fireplace surround with about a 15 foot long hearth!
- re-routed HVAC register against wall after removing the giant hearth
- installed all new stacked stone to ceiling and new hearth
- installed a cedar beam mantle
Floors
- installed all new 3/4" hardwood floors in main floor (subbed to Dowling Flooring.  Brian Dowling a great guy and good at what he does
- installed laminate type flooring in laundry room and breezeway (kind of like a big mud room between our garage and our house)
In addition to removing the half walls, removed a load bearing wall, opening up our dining room and installed a beam for proper structural support.
Darren is a very focused individual and professional.  He and his crew were on time, on site every day working and clearly committed to my job.  Got everything done on the timeline promised.  With Darren you get an expert in construction but not a design professional.  He may have help in that area for someone who doesn't know what they want but we knew what we wanted from a materials standpoint and design standpoint.  And he did have good input on some design elements when we weren't quite sure  Darren has suggested locations to purchases materials and gets them for you but you don't have to use his suggested vendors.  One tricky thing is the initial quote assumes $X for materials from certain vendors.  He specifies the amount allocated for materials for each "segment" of the project (i.e. kitchen, bath, flooring, fireplace).  I think some of the material estimates were a little low but we had an idea of what materials would cost so there weren't many surprises.  Make sure you understand what kind of quality materials you can get for the "allowance" built into the quote.  Some people may be perfectly happy with materials within that allowance but in some areas, we chose more expensive items.
All in all, very good experience.  I've been through several big projects and there's a lot of piece of mind when you know your guy is going to show up, how to handle the job and DO IT RIGHT!
