Customers say: Quality work

"I had a smooth and professional experience with Holy Roller Painting. I had several contractors say they would replace/repair my bathroom floor but none ever showed up. This went on for a couple of months. I saw this company advertised on HomeAdvisor, called them one day, and they were here the next day. The crew was professional and knowledgeable and did an outstanding job for a fair price. They had time left before Jim Cole, the mgr. returned to do a final inspection.. In that time they repaired my front screen door for no extra charge. If you are looking for reliability and professionally completed work, you could do no better than to hire this company. I will hire them again if needed and highly recommend them."

"I have been using the services of Prime Cleaning for a couple of years now. I first had them do a one-time cleaning job at one of our rentals and it went so well I have had them doing regular housecleaning for me ever since. Marcelo has been very professional to work with and the cleaning crews have done a great job. Such a relief to have the big jobs done regularly (bathroom and floor cleaning plus more) so we can keep up with the day-to-day clutter pickup."

"We were very happy with IC Floors from our first meeting at their store. We were unsure which carpet would be best for our needs. Don Johnson the store manager gave us a lot of good information, we took samples home and ordered our carpet. The service was as explained to us, no surprises. The carpet arrived at their store when they said it would, we set up an installation date, the installers arrived on time and worked very hard while they were here for two days. They left our home very clean each day. The installers did an excellent job and we love our new carpet. Dawn another one of the managers made sure we were happy with the work upon completion and if we had any concerns we needed handled. I would recommend IC Floors."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

The cost for professional floor cleaning is $250 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $1,500, depending on the type of flooring and its square footage.

For example, natural stone flooring requires specialized techniques and care, so you'll spend closer to the higher end of the cost range. The cost of cleaning tile and grout is more cost-effective, where you'll pay an average of $0.50 to $3.50 per square foot.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

Post-construction cleaning services typically include debris removal, dusting, vacuuming, wiping and sanitizing surfaces, window cleaning, and floor polishing. Depending on the scope, services may also extend to duct cleaning and general interior cleaning.

The cost to polish floors averages around $200 per room, but you could pay anywhere from $100 to $300. Some factors that influence the total cost of floor polishing include the following:

  • Square footage of flooring

  • Type of floor

  • Whether you need floor repairs done beforehand

  • Whether or not you want professional floor cleaning done beforehand

Since square footage is the most significant cost factor, you might get a more accurate estimate by using the average cost per square foot for floor polishing, which is between $1.00 and $2.50.

Distilled white vinegar can help you remove candle wax from surfaces like countertops. You’ll need to scrape off most of the wax and use the distilled white vinegar to help soften and remove the rest and leftover residue. Keep in mind that while it’s possible, using distilled white vinegar isn’t an effective method for removing wax compared to the methods listed above.
