Please do not use the CALL button on this page. Call 585 377 3177 for faster service. ALL CALLS ARE $79.95 PLUS PARTS PLUS TAXES. Most Appliance repairs are $79.95 labor and trip and parts plus tax extra. Installations of dishwashers and microwaves are $149.95 plus parts plus tax. Disposals and waterlines for ice makers are $99.95 plus parts and tax. Gas lines and sump pumps are by free estimates. Dryer vent cleaning $79.95 Dryer vent replacement $79.95 -$99.95 plus parts and tax. hi Most calls are done the same day depending what time you call and calls are scheduled for AM between 9-1 or PM between 12-5. I DO NOT WORK ON FRONT-LOADING OR HIGH EFFICIENCY TOP LOADING WASHERS OR COMPUTER CONTROLLED DRYERS OR REFRIGERATION, TELL MY SECRETARY LISA IF YOU HAVE A COMPUTER CONTROLLED UNIT AND SHE WILL INSTRUCT YOU FROM THERE. I also DO NOT do any type of refrigerator work !!!!!! Except ice maker water lines. I would like to clarify something about my pricing structure. For appliance repairs I charge $79.95 plus parts and tax and that includes the trip charge to your home, the diagnosis and the repair. If I cannot repair your Appliance the fee is the same because it's still cost me to come to your house and diagnose your machine. I am basically fixing your Appliance for FREE. Other companies will charge you a service call to come out to your house and then they will charge you a diagnostics fee and then they will charge you a labor fee. That can add up to who-knows-what? I understand why everyone asked how much is this going to cost me? With my company you don't need to ask you will already know. The parts of course are what they are. And there is no upcharge on those parts. So I don't make it back on selling you expensive parts. I know that Appliance companies get a bad rap because of the things that they've done and still do. I have never done that I have been in this business for 48 years and have always charged a flat rate fee. So I just wanted to clarify that issue so that you have a better understanding, so you know what the fees are going to be if there are no parts involved. There is no fine print. This is how I do business. :-)

"Clothes dryer was not heating. Rod recognized the problem and fixed it promptly. He also diagnosed an additional issue, namely that the wheels/rollers that turned the drum were shot and needed replacement. All work was done promptly for a reasonable amount. Very happy with the result and would use him again."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"This was our second remodeling project with Four Points, and just like the first, we couldn’t be happier! Four Points installed new quartz countertops and other upgrades in our kitchen. Jim and his crew were meticulous in their work to ensure the new countertops fit properly with our existing cabinets and backsplash. I’m sure this was trickier than a complete remodel, but they pulled it off without a hitch, and it looks fabulous! They also did a great job remodeling our powder room. Jim and Missie were very accommodating in giving me the time I needed to make selections. They patiently answered my questions, both before and during the project. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next project with Four Points!"

2008 years of experience

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

Dealers of Irpinia, Decor, Sub-Zero,Grohe, Kohler, Wolf, BlueStar and more! Member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, the National Kitchen and Bath Association, and the Better Contractor's Bureau.

"I worked with Richard Doyle directly. He and his staff are super nice, professional and honest. Richard has been doing wood working and remodeling for over 30 years and has a excellent reputation. I gave a "B" on price only because he sells and does quality work. So it is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for! So no - it's really a "A" but it is high end quality. I had this idea for a dream kitchen and he made it come true. I wanted "Zebra wood" frameless cabinets and he was the only reseller for the company that I thought could deliver the product that I wanted. Turned out the cabinet website pictures were not really what they sold as far as finishes. We spent months finding all the right manufactures to make the cabinets and do the veneers. He loved the challenge and really never charged me for the time he put in to get it right and it was right! These are not Ikea flimsy frameless cabinets. Mine have dovetail joints and solid wood with soft close hardware. 1963 kitchen and bath to 2030 modern. Love it."

Choosing between a gas vs. electric dryer comes down to individual needs. A gas dryer tends to have faster drying times and is more energy-efficient, which may be a better choice for you if you have access to affordable natural gas and have a high volume of laundry. However, an electric dryer has a lower upfront cost, is easier to install, and may be more suitable if your home doesn’t have a gas connection. When determining which type of dryer is best for you, factors such as energy costs, installation requirements, budgets, and personal preferences should be considered.

Regular cleaning, checking burners for clogs, and avoiding excessive grease buildup help maintain performance.

It's recommended that you only use your circuit breaker for your water heater. Tacking on additional appliances, especially large ones like refrigerators, can overload the circuit and lead to electrical fires. Therefore, it's best to have separate circuits for each major appliance, particularly continuous load appliances, which use a lot of energy over prolonged periods of time.

Yes, a dishwasher needs an air gap to prevent backflow. Additionally, in many locations, air gaps or another measure to prevent backflow are required for building code compliance. There are alternatives to an air gap, like a Studor vent or a loop and trap design, but an air gap is the simplest and most popular solution.

While they’re historically different, the two terms are interchangeable in the contemporary world. Nowadays, both stoves and ranges refer to the combination of a cooktop and an oven. The cooktop is sometimes referred to as the “stovetop.” Modern stoves and ranges are powered by either gas or electricity and last 13 to 15 years on average.
