Most Appliance repairs are $79.95 labor and trip and parts plus tax extra. Installations of dishwashers and microwaves are $149.95 plus parts plus tax. Disposals and waterlines for ice makers are $99.95 plus parts and tax. Gas lines and sump pumps are by free estimates. Dryer vent cleaning $79.95 Dryer vent replacement $79.95 -$99.95 plus parts and tax. hi Most calls are done the same day depending what time you call and calls are scheduled for AM between 9-1 or PM between 12-5. I DO NOT WORK ON FRONT-LOADING OR HIGH EFFICIENCY TOP LOADING WASHERS OR COMPUTER CONTROLLED DRYERS OR REFRIGERATION, TELL MY SECRETARY LISA IF YOU HAVE A COMPUTER CONTROLLED UNIT AND SHE WILL INSTRUCT YOU FROM THERE. I also DO NOT do any type of refrigerator work !!!!!! Except ice maker water lines. I would like to clarify something about my pricing structure. For appliance repairs I charge $79.95 plus parts and tax and that includes the trip charge to your home, the diagnosis and the repair. If I cannot repair your Appliance the fee is the same because it's still cost me to come to your house and diagnose your machine. I am basically fixing your Appliance for FREE. Other companies will charge you a service call to come out to your house and then they will charge you a diagnostics fee and then they will charge you a labor fee. That can add up to who-knows-what? I understand why everyone asked how much is this going to cost me? With my company you don't need to ask you will already know. The parts of course are what they are. And there is no upcharge on those parts. So I don't make it back on selling you expensive parts. I know that Appliance companies get a bad rap because of the things that they've done and still do. I have never done that I have been in this business for 48 years and have always charged a flat rate fee. So I just wanted to clarify that issue so that you have a better understanding, so you know what the fees are going to be if there are no parts involved. There is no fine print. This is how I do business. :-)

Ron was awesome! He came, looked at the non-functioning knob and figured out very quickly that the problem was from a very small piece that somehow was broken. He didn't have the part, but he knew where he could get it for MUCH cheaper than ordering it new (saving me a bundle). Since he had to go to a local place to find the part, he left and promised to come back to fix the stove as soon as possible. He called the next day to try to finish the job, but I wasn't home. I called back as soon as I got the message and his assistant set up an appointment for the next day. Rod showed up early in the window assigned, took maybe 10 minutes to put in the new part and tested it thoroughly to make sure all was right. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the professional, friendly, complete and very well-priced repair I got from Pro-tech appliances... and they'll be my first call if I ever need something like this fixed again.

Nice gentleman. Issue was that the microwave had damage which was not noticed until after the install. We noticed it and he uninstalled it so we could bring back. Still charged us full price which I understand . The damage was fairly noticeable so I think he should/could have saw this damage prior to completing the install.

I called in the morning and the phone was answered by a human, not a machine. I was offered a same day appointment, morning or afternoon. Rod quickly assessed the issues and explained why there was a problem. He didn't recommend repair due to the expense vs the age of the washing machine. Aspects, pro & cons were discussed. Then he offered to look at the dryer which I knew needed to have the exhaust vent cleaned but didn't know who to call. It was taken care of quickly and professionally. I was glad that the other service I had called first had a "full mail box" and I had tried Pro-Tech.

Due to the holidays, company was backlogged and could not come out to check my refrigerator until Monday. I found an independent repair person in the telephone pages who came out on Friday. The company is Nick's Refrigeration and Appliance Service. He was able to get the part and returned Saturday to fix the problems. He replaced the thermostat and fixed the frozen drain pipe on my Whirlpool frig. This saved me hundreds of dollars in food that I did not have to throw out.

"Dear Customer I need to explain that we do not offer a 24-hour service. Not everyone that's in the appliance business does Refrigeration or 24 hours service. And no where do I advertise that. First of all I do NOT do any Refrigeration products and secondly I do not advertise that I do emergency service at all. and being it was a holiday and if we were booked for all our other stuff we certainly wouldn't be doing emergency service for any of our customers. so I feel we certainly did not deserve the F that we got."

They never showed up. I waited from 10AM until 1PM as prescribed. Terrible dispatcher will cost the business a lot.

I can't say enough good things about Pro-Tech Appliance repair! Rod is very knowledgeable; he diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired my oven. Other companies charge a service call charge and then labor and parts and that would far exceed what I charge. I have had this same fee for my service for 13 years with no raise even with extreme rising gas prices..So I feel I provide the best service and price I can offer my customers as you can read from my other reviews."

He was very competent and knowledgeable and he has the "old work ethic" that we all pine for. People don't seem to work as hard as they used to and care about their work, but he did. I'd give him a 50 out of 10 if I could.

Rod came the same day that I called Pro-Tech to repair an electric clothes dryer that was running but not heating up. He checked all normal parts that would cause the dryer to not heat up and found everything to be working as they should but also replaced a broken piece I had in the dryer vent. He then went above and beyond to check the 220 volt outlet the dryer was plugged into and found that there was only 110 volts coming to that outlet which would allow the dryer to run but not heat. He then went way above and beyond what I believe any other appliance repair technician would have done and checked out my electrical service panel and, much to my horror, found that water had leaked into the panel and had rusted and damaged some of the breakers including the 220 breaker for the dryer!! Obviously, not being a licensed electrician, he could not repair this situation and recommended that I contact an electrician immediately as this is a very dangerous situation (everybody knows that water & high voltage electric don't mix!!). I contacted my electrician and he came right away and was also horrified to find that rain water had been leaking in from the outdoor meter box, fixed that, then had to replace all the breakers in the panel as they actually had water sitting on top of them and had damaged them. The electrician said the Rod had done me a HUGE favor by alerting me to this situation because it was a very probable disaster waiting to happen! I am forever indebted to Rod at Pro-Tech for going above & beyond to alert me to an extremely dangerous situation, that I would have never thought to check out, so I could get it fixed as soon as possible. Rod, you have a loyal customer for life!! THANK YOU!! Ron
