John showed up within 1/2 day, diagnosed the problem, had the right parts and left within an hour. The price was fair.

The washer was never leveled. I don't think it was even attempted. The first load of laundry after the work was supposedly completed was out of balance. I got out the owner's manual and figured out how to do it myself. The lock nuts were never tightened. There were no problems with replacement of the dryer vent.

I HAD JUST ABOUT GIVEN UP HOPE FOR MY OVEN BURNER TO START AGAIN ON MY C.1956 CALORIC ULTRAAMATIC OVEN/RANGE. IT IS SUCH A WELL MADE, STURDY, ACCURATE UNIT THAT HAS NO EQUAL IN TODAY'S PRODUCTS. MR. REGISTER CAME WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS AFTER I CALLED (HE WAS RECOMMENDED BY MAYER HARDWARE) AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM WITH AMAZING EXPERTISE. HE WOULD BE THE FIRST PERSON I WOULD CALL ABOUT ANY FUTURE APPLIANCE ISSUES !

John was the only one I could find that not only answered the phone on a Saturday but made a service call. Repair made quickly, professionally and at a reasonable price.

Mr Register was extremely efficient in both returning my call and showing up at my home. We will definitely be calling him again for any future appliance repairs needed!

I felt very comfortable with John Register from the moment he stepped into my home. He seemed like a down-to-Earth and honest person. He came within a few hours of my initial call because he was in the area and I appreciated that since he had a busy schedule that day. When he arrived, he examined the freezer and dryer and found the problems immediately. He was very efficient with time without rushing through the job. He showed me that the problem causing the leak in the freezer was that the manufacturer did not install a heater to keep the drain thawed. There was a huge layer of ice on the bottom of the freezer (under the inside casing so I hadn't seen it) so he removed and thawed the ice out and installed a heater. He said the problem should never happen again. The freezer has worked great since with no leaking!
The dryer was making a terrible noise and leaving rust streaks on our clothes. He showed me the problems very quickly and replaced some parts and cleaned out everything. He cleaned so much lint out pf the dryer, I couldn't believe it! The dryer works perfectly now! He was very thorough, professional, and seems like a very trustworthy person. I really appreciated having such a positive experience after having some very bad ones with other repair technicians before. I felt the price was very reasonable for the work he did and I would definitely recommend him!

Wonderful. He gives wonderful advice rather you should keep or repair or appliance. Very prompt. He provides services within 24 hours.

He came when he said he would, brought all the necessary parts and did the repair so quickly I was amazed watching him. He is obviously very experienced. We will call him again when we need large appliance repair.

It went fantastic! From my first contact with the company -- Mr. Register's receptionist was WONDERFUL. She made a great impression, and I was very happy to get a *human being* on my call, instead of a voice mail machine. She took my information and description of the problem, had a nice, pleasant voice, and let me know when I could expect Mr. Register to show up at my house. I felt like I would be taken good care of from the get-go.

Mr. Register fixed my fridge quickly, vacuumed underneath and behind the fridge....showed me how to remove the plate shielding the underside of the fridge. He also gave me GREAT information about my fridge -- saying that it was a good model that would operate well for the next 10 years...and he gave me some very valuable background information on refrigerators and how and where they got manufactured in the past and where they get manufactured now.

He told me that the older model Kenmores, like mine, used to be MADE IN AMERICA by Whirlpool for Sears. The old models were high-quality. He explained that now, the Whirlpools are made in Mexico, with flimsy Chinese parts, so it makes sense to keep the older refrigerators (and appliances in general) and get them repaired, instead of buying the new, inferior appliances. This was such a great and valuable tip that makes a lot of economic sense. He also pointed out that consumers can also save and get better quality by buying used appliances and paying to have them repaired or refurbished...as opposed to buying new and inferior products that were not made in America.

I support AMERICAN manufacturing and jobs, and in hard times like this, I really appreciated the information that Mr. Register provided. He said that due to the hard times, he's had more business in the last 3 years than he's ever had before. It's smart to get well-made, older appliances repaired and keep them in working order. I felt really good about the decision to bring in Mr. Register. He saved me from having to replace my fridge -- a major expenditure -- and really helped me appreciate the refrigerator I have!

I would definitely use Register Appliance Repair again. It's nice to be able to do business with a local, owner-operated company. I got such nice, professional and personal, friendly service....from start to finish...and my fridge is running GREAT! Thank you, Mr. Register!

The vendor arrived at the promised time, promptly diagnosed and corrected the problem. They were very professional, polite, and provide excellent customer service.

Vendor came promptly and evaluated my clothes dryer. Upon finding that the motor was burned out, he advised me to buy a new one rather than try to fix it.

The refrigerator was not cool enough (even though the settings were at the highest), so that my milk kept spoiling. John came within an hour of my call. The problem was that the dials weren't set properly to maximize coolness in the refrigerator part. He made the adjustment and explained what he was doing and why. He graciously answered my questions. It's been working great ever since. He just charged me for a service call.

After failing to successfully repair our wall oven myself, I called Register Appliance Service. An appointment was made for service. John Register called 30 minutes prior to arrival to confirm the appointment. The service was completed quickly and professionally. John was pleasant to have in our home and we would certainly use his services again.

Called to say we needed service on our dryer. John Register called within an hour and came out to do the work same day. He was polite, explained the work being done. Price seemed fair for work and time involved.
