"Thanks to Harding we will not have to enter this years cold season without heat! We are in the process of buying an older house that still had its (almost) original boiler furnace. They were quick to get to our house (we live outside of the Perry area and they never hesitated on wanting to help us) to inspect and even send a second guy (SAME DAY!) to give us a pretty good quote. They were quick to schedule the complete install of our new unit and the guys who came and worked on it were amazing! So friendly and professional who made sure we had all of the questions we could think of answered before they left (they even took the ancient broken system with them.) They made sure to walk us through the upkeep once winter ends and double tested everything to make sure it was going to do what it was supposed to do! Now that we have our full unit replaced we can sleep peaceful (and toasty warm) this winter and for the winters to come. Gladly recommend these guys for any questions, repairs, or replacements!"

Our prompt, courteous and professional service teams tackle every job knowing that your satisfaction is our number one priority. From new septic and sewer systems to upgrading to repair and maintenance of older systems, we have over fifty years of well documented experience in being the most timely and most cost effective septic and sewer service around.

"This company came to service my septic tank and did not pump out the waste, only the water. This week my sewer line backed up and they refused to even come look without charging us money. I called Roto Rooter, and for free the looked at the tank and it was filled with years worth of sludge. Again we called and the company would take no responsibility for what they had done. Roto Rooter pumped the tanks and took out 800 gallons and 1200 gallons, as we have 2 tanks. I am so discouraged that a company would act this way and cause my family hardship. How can you refuse to even check the validity of our statements? I would NEVER recommend them and they should be ashamed of themselves."

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

DIY is not recommended due to safety and technical requirements. Hire professionals for accurate diagnosis and repair.

Having a well means that a household’s water supply, including water that comes through faucets, showerheads, and appliances, is supplied through a private source rather than from a city. The well pulls fresh water from an underground water supply, such as an aquifer, and the well pump pushes the water from the well to your household.

The average three to four-bedroom home uses a well pump of 8 to 12 GPM. It’s recommended to calculate your own GPM based on the number of water fixtures in your home so you can find the pump size that’s most accurate to your needs.

The average life span of a well is about 30 to 50 years. Several factors can affect a well’s lifespan, such as its size, construction quality, water demand, and regular maintenance. Environmental factors, including droughts and earthquakes, can also have an influence. Drilling deeper, getting professional maintenance, and regulating your water usage can help extend your well’s lifespan.

Signs that your well is dry include a decrease in water pressure, strange odors coming from faucets, cloudy, bubbly, or discolored water, and water that’s warmer than normal. Signs that your well pump is bad are similar, but you may also notice higher-than-average electric bills, strange clicking sounds, and faucets that spit or sputter.
