"We started with the land clearing then transitioned to excavating the foundation. Perimeter drains were installed. After foundation was back filled,Joe Pita rough graded the lot. Joe also installed our septic system . All aspects of our job was done very professionally. We would definitely recommend Joe Pita for all your excavation needs. "Dave and a co-worker came out the day I called.  It was a rainy afternoon and I had a huge hole in the roof of my camp.  They were willing to fix it that night but a family was renting the camp.  So Dave came out early the next day and had it completed by 10 a.m.  The roof problem caused a problem in the bathroom ceiling which he then came out and fixed a few days later.  He was completely professional, prompt and very, very helpful.

"For the estimate, came out discussed what would be done. He mailed us the proposal. Any questions we had about it were answered. When we said we'd us him, he scheduled us for the next week, but we told him we were not available, so he worked around our schedule. 
It is a family run business. Very friendly. Will explain all of the work being done. We did ask how long it would take, response: each job varies depending on what is discovered. That may sound vague, but throughout it, they were focused on the digging. Our soil is not really "soil" it's mostly sand mixed with dirt (the whole town is). With it being dry, can easily cave in. 
The whole job took 4 hours.
