- CleanBright Surface RestorationMatt was and his team were amazing! To begin with he responded to my voicemail within 5 minutes and said he would come look at my situation in 1 hour. He was there in the said 1 hour. He looked at the damage I had and said he would leave to go get men and equipment from another job and return in 1.5 hrs. And, again he returned in the promised amount of time. By the end of the afternoon all the wet carpet had been removed, furniture moved and mold discovered. He suggested a mold expert (I had no idea who to call), called him and set it up for him to contact me. Once the mold expert came and did his inspection and issued his report Matt and his team returned and followed the report to safely and appropriately remove all the moldy materials. After that work was done, several days of dehumidifiers running and a follow up onsite review and report by the mold expert giving the all clear Matt and his crew started rebuilding my basement. He had good suggestions and the work was completed to my wishes and satisfaction! I found Matt to be honest, trustworthy and committed to making my finished basement the way I wanted it. He stayed in constant touch via text with me and got back to me quickly answering and questions I had. After the initial disaster discovering my flood I felt very fortunate to have found CleanBright Surface Restoration because with 1 phone call they did it all. From soup to nuts as they say. - CleanBright Surface RestorationThis is my second experience with Matt and he was again excellent. Problem: water seepage into basement with resulting mold sufficient to make me physically ill. Matt arrives on time with his assistant, gets to work and completes the work from day to day until complete, excepting weekends. He is open to discussing alternatives that may be less costly and to trying these alternatives, with the express understanding that these may not work sufficiently and more thorough work, additional work may be needed. It is always clear that the work being performed is necessary, and if additional work is needed, the new work would build on the prior work done. So there is no wasted work, and little to no downside to trying a more limited approach to see if that is sufficient. I can always call him to come back and upgrade, which in this case would be to install a ditch around the inside perimeter of the basement for drainage to the already installed sump pumps. The cost is entirely reasonable given the amount of work performed and the time commitment involved (almost 5 full work days). I recommend Matt without reservation

He explained what needed to be done to remedy the damage and deal with issues related to mold. He also provided professional advice on ways to keep our basement dry and free from further damage (e.g., placement of our humidifier in basement, need to obtain a humidifier that covered more square footage). "100% professional right from the first contact! System designerworked (literally) for hours, photographing and measuring the work area then gave a clear & detailed presentation of the project. Austin Putnam's work crew arrived on day scheduled and on time (after calling to say they were on the way), worked diligently but not quietly (jackhammers DO make noise!), explained what they were doing and returned two days later to test the system. Cleaned the work area better than they received it and even put a small amount of cement in the entryway when there was a significant depression . "It was a trip hazard", he observed. It was a pleasure having them around and would definitely recommend them. I deliberately waited to submit this review until I had experienced a significant rain event, and everything was fine. Even heard a soft noise...the sump pump quietly doing its job.

My aunt was away from her home in Granville NY because she was helping care for my parents who both had medical issues in Virginia.
