Affordable Energy

I had an addition put on over the summer. The GC used Affordable Energy for all the fiberglass insulation. The crew did such a good job that I decided to hire Affordable Energy to spray foam the sill plates in my existing basement. I had old fiberglass insulation that I removed myself since the sills were very leaky. The spray foam crew came in and did an awesome job as well. Peter is quick to respond if any issues rise up. I can definitely tell the difference in my basement already. No complaints and I would recommend Affordable Energy.

Arrived with his 2 installers, walked them through to review my home needs, and they completed all. They were very efficient, knowlegeable, courteous, trustworthy, and persisted for several hours to complete. Best contractor I have ever hired!

My name is Tony from Colonie NY. Back in October 2020 we had A.E. insulate our 58 yr old home that had about 1" of fiberglass insulation. They sealed up the basement, blown in insulation in all exterior walls and attic. No more drafts and holds not only the heat in but the AC in the summer. The place feels like a real home again. Excellent customer service & relations. They asked questions & kept me informed during the entire project. This project involved adding insulation to an under insulated attic, sealing around areas in the ceiling that were leaking air into the rooms, resealing attic access & installing 2 new fans in the attic peaks. They walked me through the work when finished & answered my questions. They cleaned everything up prior to leaving. I would recommend to others.
