"I had total of three well known hesting company to assess why i am getting very little heat in two jointing rooms. I slept in that room for three years, with a heating blanket, hat, sweatsuit, sock and lots of blankets. It was the third heating company JJB heating and cooling who figured it out. Now my large room is warmer, the floor watmer and i don't need a heating blanket. Thanks to JJB heating and cooling i can really enjoy my room . It is 72 degrees now. Thank you"

"Douglas and John did an amazing job in a short 2 weeks. Full bath remodel and 3 rooms primed and painted including repairs. They were professional and knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure all the details were covered and completed. The quoted job was on target with price and timeframe. I am pleased with the job and will be scheduling more work in the future. So glad to have found a contractor that I can trust."

"It went fine. We needed to modify the design part way through the project, but even this went smoothly. The builder made sure that there was good communication with the customer (me). The cost was not cheap, but it was worth the cost."

"Mark came over to assess what needed to be done. We are de-converting a double house back to a single and needed to eliminate one of the electric meters. i explained what we were doing and that we also are having our kitchen remodeled (total gut) in a few months. Mark suggested that the best thing to do was to combine the inside electric boxes into a single 200amp box that would provide additional breakers for the new kitchen and additional growth. We also decided to have him install the new sub box for the new a/c unit that was being installed in a few weeks. We also needed an external outlet installed for the back deck. Mark took care of getting the permits. We did run into a little glitch with the City of Rochester. Apparently I needed to get a building permit since we were converting the house, before he could get the electric permit. So $110 later ($50 for building permit and $60 for ridiculous Certificate of Occupany permit -a total money grab by the City of Rochester!). Once he got the permits Luis and his assistant did some prepartory work on Thursday and then did the major work on Friday. I was completely amazed at how much they were able to accomplish. The job was well done. They were very professional and courteous and provided me answers to questions I had. I was very pleased and would most definitely hire them again. I'm attaching pictures showing the new 200 amp box at noon when all the wires had been disconnected from the 2 old boxes. 6 hours later at around 6:00pm the job was done. Just amazing!"

"Wow! We are thrilled with our new porch. Phil and co tackled a beast of a concrete porch on the front of our house and replaced it with a beautiful entry deck. Their attention to detail was impressive, they managed the "surprises" with ease (Oh look, a rotted support timber under your front door. Let's replace that.), and I felt confident throughout that they were committed to doing quality work at a fair price. They kept me apprised of all developments, provided me with informed choices to make throughout, and worked hard to give us something that we'd be happy with for many years. I look forward to more projects with Sanhil. Highly recommended."

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.

Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
