A prompt response by Mark Ellenwood created a comprehensive, well-reasoned plan that also required coordination with the local utility and a tree trimming service. A fixed price was agreed and a tentative schedule presented. Ellenwood Electric coordinated the entire process . The 2 young men who performed the electrical work were skilled, competent, and courteous. Their work was praised by both the utility company personnel and the Ispector. And all work was completed for the exact agreed price.

Luis and Jack (the apprentice) did an amazing job. They were very thorough and knowledgeable and helped to explain things to us in a very easy to understand manner. Luis showed up right as promised. He diagnosed the problem promptly and did the needed repair. He also advised me on where I can go to find the type of fixtures I need. Once I have them I look forward to have Ellenwood Electric install them.

Another fantastic job! We had our electric service upgraded and some smaller jobs taken care of. We have used Ellenwood Electric for many jobs over the years. Mark and his team were great. From the initial consultation to scheduling to execution, everything was seamless. We highly recommend Ellenwood Electric. We will be using them for future projects. See below for more details. We recently purchased an older home built in 1900. It is challenging to find people with the knowledge and skills to work on such buildings. For this first phase, we had many outlets updated, outlets added, and ceiling lighting added into the living/family rooms. We also had a few problems that needed troubleshooting regarding wall switches and what they did. Everything was done well, efficiently, and on time as promised - very reasonably priced. Shout out to Luis (not sure on spelling) for leading onsite. Great guy, friendly, respectful, and very knowledgeable! We are remodeling our kitchen next year, which will require some significant electrical upgrades. I would have no one else but Mark and his team do the work.

Ellenwood Electric responded to a request for quote to upgrade our existing 100 amp electrical panel to a 200 amp electrical panel and was onsite within the week to perform a detailed walkthrough to prepare a scope of work and quote. Once the work was approved a date was scheduled and vendor Mark from Ellenwood reached out directly to provide scheduled dates and ask if there were any questions. On the the two days of install Luis and Diego were promptly on time and performed the entire scope of work and answered questions that we had about the process. Overall Ellenwood Electric was 100% professional and pleasant and would work with them again for all future electrical needs.

We had a great experience with Mark and his team. Mark was quick to respond to our request for a quote and came back with a reasonable quote for our 200 amp upgrade.I also came away feeling like he had a solid plan for dealing with some of the quirks of our house. I also had to reschedule this large job and Mark was able to accommodate that. Luis and Diego performed the work and they were absolutely fantastic. Friendly and professional at the same time, they performed high quality work and kept us in the loop the whole way. We also had a separate sub panel upgraded and wiring put in place for an EV charge. Everything came out working well and looking great. It was a pleasure having them take care of the project for us. Mark, the owner, is a great communicator-quickly responsive to calls and emails, patient with questions, very knowledgeable and professional in every way. Luis and his assistant, Diego, called 1/2 hour before arriving as promised, and they were right on time, very respectful, polite, and hard-working. Unlike some other contracting companies' workers I've had, they also just seemed peaceful, working together quietly and efficiently in a mutually respectful way, and without any arguing or swearing at all, which I really appreciated! Luis also removed the base of a lightbulb that had broken off in a ceiling socket when I tried to remove it the week before. A tip he shared: always leave the bulb just slightly loose, instead of tightening as far as it will go, to avoid this in the future. Mark and his team are FANTASTIC! You will not find a higher quality electrician in the Rochester area. They are honest, fair, and kind people. I think the thing I loved most about them is they always explained what they were doing and WHY. No corners are cut. Always professional, quality, and clean work. These guys are great. They were courteous, knowledgeable, fast, and organized. There was little disruption even though they rewired the entire house. I love the new lights! Ellenwood also handled all of the permits and coordinated with the power company. I highly recommend them if you need any work done.

Perfect as always. We have used Ellenwood for small and larger projects. We are always happy when they leave. They have run wiring for new outlets, fixed faulty plugs, installed new ceiling fans and bathroom vents/fans/heaters and are always professional. We live in an 1871 home and many electricians won't touch it. Ellenwood tackles the projects with professionalism and knowledge of historic homes. We could not be happier with their work. Upon selling my house a home inspector incorrectly told the buyer there was an issue with the electrical box. Ellenwood came over and inspected and assured everything was up to code. I greatly appreciate his honesty and integrity and wouldn't hesitate to call again in the future.

Mark Ellenwood and his employees were professional, prompt, neat and did a great job. The equipment that was recommended is perfect for our dark house on a very dark street.
