Greg communicated clearly and professionally about his services. His pricing was on the high end of the quotes I received and it was worth it. He went above and beyond clearing the woodchuck issue and his service included filling in the holes where the critters took up residence. I had no ones else offer to include the hole repair. I'd highly recommend.

Greg at Eastside Wildlife is the best! First, be sure to call him at 585-259-2729. His website is not up at the time of this post, and Google erroneously says he's closed, but he's definitely still open. Here are the great things about Eastside Wildlife: 1. Great pricing - more affordable than the chains or nationwide groups that pass you on to subcontractors. 2. Greg knows about houses - Greg has a lot of experience in home building, especially with old houses, so he can think carefully about what is going on behind the walls and inside the roof without having to cut holes in everything. Not only that, he is good at sealing up and fixing things later so that they look good and animals can't come back. He left our home looking better than when he started. 3. Greg is patient and dependable - start to finish, Greg was out every week for almost two months. He worked carefully and deliberately, making sure not to close up access points until he was sure no animals were going to be trying to get back in. 4. Greg knows about animals - the guy used to be a trapper as a hobby. He knows all about animals' behaviors and how to catch them. He uses his own traps only, no poison or toxic chemicals. He has cool devices, like one way wire tunnels so the animals can get out of your house but can't get back in. 5. Greg guarantees his work for two years, so that's very reassuring. 6. Greg is just a nice guy and really professional! He's awesome to chat with.

We had two red squirrels that were getting into our house and garage. He trapped them both and got rid of the problem. It was an ongoing process. He had traps here for a couple of weeks. They were fantastic. I think the price was fair. There was no problem at all.

He was excellent. The pesticide company wanted to charge me like $67.00 for it in insulation and all sorts of things. He works with the state in terms of wild life recovery. I highly recommend this guy. He was very honest and told me what the bottom line was. Greg is the real deal. He is definitely a good resource.

He removed some flying squirrels from our log home. He put a trap/release cage out and plugged some small holes, and we haven't heard anything since. Greg did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone. He was very knowledgeable and it helped a lot during the process.

Greg did a great job dealing with critters in the attic. He installed a new vent to prevent any more incursions. He is very knowledgeable and capable. He fully explained what was going on and what he needed to do. We have been very satisfied with his service, and we are pest free.

Baby squirrels fell down between the walls and couldn't make it back up. I should have called when I heard the scampering above the ceiling- lesson learned. |Greg was very knowledgable about wildlife and their habits, figured out it was red squirrels right away, and explained everything to me as he worked. He drilled a hole in the wall and used a scope to locate them, then cut a piece of drywall from the lower living room wall to get them out. He offered a humane option for capturing them, if I wanted, but one was already dead and the other had wedged itself so that it was in unreachable without cutting up more of the wall. He covered the hole inside with a trap temporarily, and set a trap for the mother outside. He came back twice more to retrieve the animals and remove the traps. He caught the mother but the couldn't reach the other dead baby in the wall due to a heat run. We decided to leave it unless it started to smell, rather than cut a hole in the dining room wall. Fortunately, it never did! Greg also covered the exterior hole with metal sheeting so no further wildlife would get in, and painted it to match the house. |He charged a service fee the first time, and $65 an hour after that. I thought he was very fair with his pricing, steering me toward less expensive options, and was very personable and great to work with.

He came over to our house several times to help us try and find this weasel. He looked for places of entry for that weasel.  He said he would trap the animal for us but we chose not to take that route.  He was very informative and knowledgable and very willing to educate us on this issue. We loved him!  He was here when he said he was going to be here and if we going to be a little late he called and let us know so we werent sitting here waiting on him.

We had a terrible problem with skunks on our property. We were so fortunate to stumble upon Greg at East Side Wildlife Control. The first time I spoke with Greg on the phone, his passion and knowledge came shining through. He spoke to me for 30 minutes! I could tell he was an expert and the right person for the job. During the course of the next few months, he caught not only the skunks that were causing the problem - one of them was about to give birth to a litter! - but a possum, woodchuck, squirrels and more. He also advised us, appropriately, that we need to enclose the area underneath the back porch, lest new animals simply move right in and start the cycle all over again. Greg did a fantastic job of enclosing this area. He truly went out of his way to do it right. We even gave him a modest bonus at the end because we knew he probably did more work for us than his estimate called for at the outset.

Greg was very punctual when coming over to do the estimate. He was careful and respectful of my home and looked over the exterior as well as the interior and gave me suggestions on how to keep the wildlife out (it's a very old home). He was very punctual when he came back to remove the nest, and in spite of it being considerably larger than he'd thought, he stuck by his estimate. He was pleasant and helpful, and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. He was not condescending at all, which isn't always the case with contractors dealing with single mothers, and he is very fair with his pricing. He was absolutely great! He minimized the mess as much as possible too!
