"Exceptional service. Would definitely recommend this company. Did a very professional job and were extremely knowledgeable and cleaned up the site thoroughly. We needed the side panel of our bath tub to be replaced and provide a magnetic panel to provide access to bath faucet if needed. Original builder didn’t provide that and we had to break 3 large tiles to access leaking faucet. So happy with the results."

Small jobs welcome

"Very please with how everything came out, we wanted vinyl flooring in one room and ceramic tile in the other and the job was executed perfectly. Prior to beginning, on the second floor one room was completely unleveled with an huge hump. They addressed the issue, fixed it, and it was all done in a timely manner. Definitely would recommend these guys if you want the job done right!"

"I️ received a quick response back! Very accommodating to my schedule which was greatly appreciated. The grout was is a sorry state and now looks great. The tile floors were disgusting-I️ don’t think there had ever been cleaned and now they look new. Brandy and Carlos are meticulous in their work. I️ would definitely hire them again."

"Outstanding. Deven completed the job and it looks great. I wanted some upstairs tile cleaned that would have cost extra, but Deven said that I should have some other work done prior to his cleaning......offered to do it if I wanted, but suggested I wait even though it cost him the extra dollars. You do not find that everyday. Thanks!

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

Glazed ceramic tiles don’t need to be sealed because the glazing already offers some protection against moisture. Unglazed ceramic tiles need to be sealed to keep the porous tile safe from moisture and staining. However, both types of tile can benefit from sealing. Sealant can make the tiles easier to keep clean and offer more resistance to water, spills, and stains.

Ceramic tile adheres best with premixed adhesive or mortar. If you’re installing the tile in an area with moisture, such as a bathroom or kitchen, opt for waterproof adhesive, and if you choose mortar, make sure it’s thick because that is the easiest to work with and ensures the tiles will sit flat.

Whether you want to match your tile trim with grout comes down to your personal preferences. If you match the two, it can help your tiles to stand out while providing a clean, cohesive look. On the other hand, you might opt to match your tile trim with your tiles. The best option will depend largely on your tile design, as well as how it fits overall with the rest of your room.

Generally speaking, it is better to cut tile wet when using a fast-moving wet saw to reduce dust and chipping. However, tile can be cut dry when using just about any cutting tool. Dry cutting will result in a bigger mess and may increase the risk of chipping or cracking, but if you’re just making small cuts, dry cutting is a safe and viable option. Cutting dry also means you can apply tile grout sooner, so it’s better for rushed projects.

Larger tiles can be difficult to install because they’re heavier and bulkier than their smaller counterparts, which makes them harder to haul around and put in place. Plus, if you don’t install the tiles correctly, they could crack or break. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a professional for large-format tile installation.
