"This person who came to do work on my mothers house was completely unprofessional and rude. He tried to upsell on parts and when he didn't get his way he requested the parts back claiming the part was 400 dollars. He said maybe if you unplug your treadmill there won't be a short in the system. Then he said that he will come to my mother's house to remove the part his self if it wasn't returned to him. He threatens people who doesn't give into him. "

Other factors, such as an included light kit, installing switches, and ease of access can also affect the final cost.

Yes, adding wiring for a ceiling fan where there is none requires an electrician to build the electrical infrastructure. You should not attempt to do this job yourself, as electrical work can be dangerous without experience. All told, the job is a big one, and it might cost up to $2,000.

If the fan doesn’t have a switch, connect the white wire from the ceiling to the white wire from the fan; connect the green wire to the ground wire; connect both black wires; and connect both blue wires.
