Small jobs welcome

Customers say: Quality work

"I found Edgar great to work with. He showed up on time and when he was a little late he called. I am very happy with the way he communicated. I needed a backsplash behind my bathroom sink. It was a little challenging because the wall wasn't flat. He was able to work around this, did a great job and it looks really good. Less than a week from when he showed up for the estimate to when the job was done. And he seems like a really nice man. I would definitely want to use him again for a future project."

Marble and Granite questions, answered by experts

Any surface, including a waterfall countertop, can last decades based on a few things. First is the chosen material. For instance, quartz and granite are more durable and long-lasting than marble or concrete. Proper care also plays a key role. Regular cleaning and sealing, if required, will help any counter resist stains and damage over time.

If the damage is minor, you can repair countertops without replacing them. You can also resurface a laminate countertop rather than replace it when it gets old and dingy. Countertop resurfacing is a relatively easy project, though it can be time-consuming, so you may prefer to hire a pro to do this for you.

Using water when cutting stone drastically reduces the amount of dust that comes off the stone. It’s beneficial to cut down on the amount of dust for respiratory and other safety reasons, such as keeping your vision clear while using an electric tool. Even with protective eyewear, the dust can still cloud your safety glasses. You should always wear protective gear when cutting stone.

Yes, limestone often turns yellow over time when improperly cared for. The stone contains natural iron deposits, which can oxidize when exposed to water, acids, or harsh chemicals, such as bleach. Without exposure to water or chemicals, limestone should not turn yellow. Always seal limestone countertops to protect them from moisture, and only use gentle cleansers designed for stone.

Professionals remove scratches, stains, and etching, restoring the stone’s natural shine and extending its lifespan.
