"

Paid for this through Angie's List and forgot about it.  I've gotten spoiled by providers contacting me and this business never did.

So the upshot is that the company might be fine, but the downside is that I paid for services I never received.

Honestly, I wasn't going to write a review at all except for the annoying popup thing that keeps asking about my experience.

So I'd go for other people's reviews to get a more realistic sense of what this company's about.

"I work for a construction cost data company and deal with a lot of contractors in my work. I've also renovated 6 homes and have had a lot of contractor experience there as well. I can truly AC&R are simply the best contractors I have ever worked with. I can be a very hard customer to please and so I got 5 estimates on removing a package unit (AC/Heat) from my backyard and putting a new furnace in my crawl space. One guy who came to estimate the job said "Some jobs you walk away from. I'm running away from this job!" Seriously. I actually had Gabe and Dustin from AC&R to my house twice just to make sure they hadn't missed anything on the original quote. They were extremely professional, courteous and helpful in their suggestions. They weren't the cheapest estimate, but the weren't even close to the highest and they just seemed to be very honest so we hired them. They came back with an installation supervisor the day before the scheduled install and went over everything in detail. Then the best part came - our installers Tony and Benny spent three full days dismantling my old system and installing the new one. They too were very professional, neat, courteous and super nice to my dog. Two electricians also spent half a day here on the third day and all of them stuck around for the startup and testing. The Rheem furnace they installed is working great and is super quiet. I could not be happier. Do not hesitate for a second to call AC&R!"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

Be cautious if quotes don’t mention researching Santa Fe’s unique property boundaries, acequia rights, or historic overlays. If a surveyor overlooks the need for monument preservation or seems unfamiliar with local terrain challenges, that’s a warning sign. Also, avoid professionals who don’t offer elevation certificates or lack experience with historic or irregular parcels, as these are common in Santa Fe and require specialized knowledge.

Helpful?

Before land surveying in Santa Fe, gather any past surveys and review your property’s legal description for irregularities. Contact local planning officials to confirm zoning or archaeological restrictions. Arrange for underground utility marking and notify neighbors if shared boundaries are involved. Trim vegetation along property lines and avoid scheduling surveys during monsoon season to ensure clear access and accurate results for your property boundaries.

Helpful?

In Santa Fe, homes with thick adobe walls, irregular property boundaries, or historic construction—especially in neighborhoods like the Eastside Historic District—often require extra attention during land surveying. If your property sits on a steep slope, near an arroyo, or includes shared driveways, acequia access, or detached casitas, these features can complicate accurate measurements and may require specialized surveying techniques.

Helpful?

Your Santa Fe home is a strong candidate for land surveying if you’re planning to build, resolve a boundary dispute, or install solar panels. Properties with casitas, those near acequias, or homes on larger lots especially benefit from updated surveys. If your house is older or has unique features, a new survey helps clarify property lines and supports compliance with local zoning and development requirements.

Helpful?

In Santa Fe, intense sunlight can fade survey markers, while monsoon rains or freeze-thaw cycles may shift or bury them. Accidentally covering markers with landscaping materials, moving them during yard work, or planting over property boundaries can cause issues. Construction activity or annual acequia maintenance may also disturb markers. Regularly check and photograph survey points after storms to help maintain your property boundaries.
