His skills and quality of work are pretty good for the low rates he charges for his services.
He is congenial and tries to be helpful in every way. His assistants are typically hard working and semi-skilled or more.
He is totally unreliable. In all, he has probably worked a total of 7-8 days on my property, but it took about 20 scheduled days for him to work those 7-8 days. The work is still not finished, and I have not heard from him in over two months. The man just cannot keep his word.

I think that Andres could have built a nice, little business given his skills.  But, he lacks the discipline to contact the customer when he was going to be late or not coming at all - which happened often in my case.  And to take a deposit for materials and never give an accounting to the customer is unforgiveable.

Took months to complete, many no-shows and tardies often with no warning, not all work done at acceptable quality, kitchen and baths difficult to use due to having cleared/cleaned tiled areas many times awaiting service which never happened.  Will have to hire another to re-do much of the work.

I liked Andreas very much and I think he did good work.  However, reliability is very important to me.  At our first meeting , he called me fifteen minutes after our meeting time to tell me he would be another 15 minutes late.  The date of our appointment, he had to cancel due to an accident with his truck.  He rescheduled to come to my house this past Saturday at 9 AM.  By 9:15 AM, I tried to call him and his phone didn't work.  He called me at 9:30 to let me know he was running late and just now leaving Santa Fe ( I live in Albuquerque).  He was an hour and a half late.  I ended up not having enough time to have him do all the work I needed done as my son had an appointment I had to take him to that afternoon.  I do not plan to use this service again.

It was very to get them scheduled and they did the work in a timely manner. I was satisfied with the work.

Both men were punctual, very professional and pleasant to work with, and
the job was completed on time.  Andreas has a lot of experience in various aspects of home construction and repair and I will definitely call him again should the need arise.

I think that Santa Fe Home Maintenance did a really good job. They did a really good job. Their pricing was high. There was a problem with their punctuality. 

Like any big job, some things changed as we went along. Andres had some personal appointments that we had to work around. We figured out how we would do the tile work on the fly. I had some supplies on hand...others he had to go out and buy. But he did the job for the price he quoted, and added on a couple of stucco repairs for a small upcharge. I think I could have had this job done for a bit less money, but I can't imagine it would have come out as nice as what he did. He's worth it. Totally pleasant to work with, he put down protective sheets so he never muddied up the floor, and he brought a helper that was good natured and competent. D*** right I'd use him again!

Overall, they came in a timely manner, gave me a bid on hauling away a lot of accumulation of brush, etc., from lawn care in the summer.  They always called if they would be detaine. They were unable to rent a trailer to haul away the yard debris, which had escalated with the cleaning out of a storage shed, but came anyway and had to make two trips to the dump with two pickup trucks.  They were pleasant and polite and very good to work with.  Sue

They were wonderful!  We had them hang pictures and heavy mirrors which
they did very carefully, being sure they were placed properly in studs
in the wall.  I couldn't have asked for a more professional team to do
the work.  They also fixed a hinge in my pantry door so it is now
working perfectly and not catching anymore on the door.  This company
will now be my go to guys for home repair.

Andres provided exceptional service. He is the type of contractor that Angie's list seeks to provide. He made several calls to me after I purchased the coupon. I know that small contractors are sometimes overwhelmed by the response from an Angie's list coupon, so I was very impressed with his ability to come to my house so soon.I did not want to take off work so he came on a Saturday . He was right on time and very polite and personable.

One thing that I liked about him is that he was willing to admit that he won't do a job if he doesn't know how to do it.  He won't mislead me to think that he could do something that he couldn't.  I appreciate that.  He is very honest, and doesn't waste any time.  I am a senior and I felt that the price was a bit high, but it was a good service.

I was very happy and impressed with their services. The gentlemen called me right back and gave me an estimate right away. They came and finished when they said they would.

Andres arrived on time, was very professional, and a pleasure to work with.  I highly recommend him and will call him again.

I found Mr Andres Rubio to be a real professional.  His work was done well and on time.  I will call him again when I need something else done.  A real find!

Both my husband and I thought Andres provided great craftsmanship.  He clearly takes pride in his work.  The job required work done over several days.  Andres always arrived when he said he would and if he couldn't, then he called an let us know in plenty of time to make other arrangements.  We give him high marks on reliability.  Andres also had to rebuild a cabinet front that required him to match wood and cabinet molding.  He did a great job at this as well.  We would definitely ask Andres to do more work for us.
