"B.W. Earp was recommended to us by a trusted resource in the building/stucco community 3 years ago. After numerous setbacks (on our part) we were finally ready to move forward with a complete restucco on our house. Brian kept in touch regarding schedules and thoroughly answered all questions about colors, process and dealing with issues from the original stucco job. His crew members did a great job building out and finishing the front doorway after we had a new door installed and were cordial and professional when we had questions or concerns. We are very happy with the finished project and have already recommended them to friends."

"CONS - 1st - We gave the company a down payment on 11/1/19, and they did not start the job until January 6, 2020, and never gave us a reason for the delay. We kept trying to make contact with Felipe Silva and he would keep giving us dates, and then would never start. So, we had to keep calling and harassing them for a definitive date. It took us 2 months to get that date. 2nd - The (Foreman/Lead Worker),Felipe Silva had horrible communication skills, he would not contact us with status, when they would be arriving and constantly left us waiting and wondering. I have nothing nice to say about Felipe, he was cocky, arrogant and did not listen to anything the homeowner had to say. He would always try to put the blame on the homeowner. We had a constant battle with this individual. He never took responsibility for his actions, just always trying to blame someone else. Horrible professional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3rd - Felipe would tell us one thing about what was going to be done, and do another and then act like he never said that. Also, he would try to nickle and dime us for every little thing. 4th - The individual that laid the concrete slab in our kept having his female friend come to our house, he was doing a job, she should have never been at the site location while he was working. Also, the concrete slab is not level. 5th - The individuals that did the wall remodeling in the bathroom made a big hole in the adjacent wall and did a horrible job patching it, and never fixed it. After they were done texturing the walls, I had to go back to fix and sand before I painted, and it was supposed to be paint ready, which it wasn't. Was very unhappy with these workers. 6th - The quality of the cabinets they ordered were okay. We wanted to get our own, but Felipe said it would take forever to order the ones we wanted from Lowes, but it took forever to get the cabinets they ordered. We kept having to return the cabinets due to problems, scratches, not painted properly, warped, wrong size, which Felipe measured and then tried to say we measured wrong. Wish I would have put my foot down when it came to the cabinets. 7th - The plumber that did the work on the bathroom & kitchen was horrible. First, he rushed in installing the bathroom sink and it leaked, which caused one of the bathroom walls to get saturated, which we had to dry so it wouldn't get mold. When installing the kitchen sink he thought he was done, but when I check underneath the sink water was gushing all over, and I had to point this out to him as he was walking away to leave. It turns out that he had the wrong size gasket for the pipes. And, I had to clean up the mess because he didn't even after I handed him a towel. He was rude, unprofessional and didn't seem to care for his job. PROS 1st - Gonzalo, the gentleman that did the tile work in my bathroom was great. The tile work is beautiful and precise. I love walking into my bathroom & seeing such professional work. He took his time, made sure to measure just right, was very pleasant and professional the whole time. I would love to hire just him again. 2nd - Tim & Vincent, the gentleman that installed our cabinets were also great. They did great work in leveling our cabinets, because we have any old house with uneven walls. Very professional and pleasant. Vincent installed a wall between two adjacent rooms, and did a great job with installation and texturing the wall. It would be nice to hire these individuals without the company. All and all, I would not recommend this company, just the 3 gentleman I mentioned."

"A house in our neighborhood (Taylor Ranch) had a beautiful stucco finish -- and a Western Wall sign in front. That was the kind of look I wanted, so I contacted Cesar and Nora Grajeda. From our first meeting, I felt I was dealing with honest, hard-working people who knew their business and wanted to do a quality job. They gave us a clear, detailed estimate and explained exactly how the work would be done -- and what materials they would use. As the owner of a flat-roof Southwestern home, I was especially impressed with how our parapets would be rebuilt with mesh fabric and sealer before the synthetic color coat was applied. Cesar was confident this stucco project would seal out water -- and that made me confident, too. We negotiated a fair price and they started the job the following week. The work crews that arrived were very respectful to us as homeowners and careful how they did the job. They communicated a few things we could do -- for example, trimming back a cactus -- to help. In addition to the parapet work, they sealed cracks and areas around all the doors and windows. Again, I felt this would help keep our home water-tight. We had a full range of color options, and Cesar and Nora brought over a sample square to show us exactly how it would look, confirming our choice. The color coat is bright and beautiful with a perfectly consistent sand texture -- a work of art, in my opinion. Clean-up was very thorough and the crew actually improved my two gates by re-attaching the hinges better than they were before. Cesar offered to install new lights free of charge, so we bought a nice pair of security lights at Costco for the front, completing the look. We are very happy the way the project turned out. I highly recommend this company."

"I needed to re-stucco my entire home as the original stucco had cracks. I was given a clear quote detailing the work to be done. All communication was clear throughout the process. They worked with my schedule and did a great job. The crew were friendly and hard working, and they cleaned up my property and restored the yard perfectly. I am very satisfied."

"Noemi was professional from start to finish!! Efficient friendly and brilliant work ethics! She did way more than just paint the interior of our house! We purchased new lights and ceiling fans and she installed all! We had to have new closet doors for one bedroom and she purchased and installed them as well! Quite honestly I donâ  t know how I would have managed with out her and her team! We highly recommend Grace Builders LLC . Just a great experience!!"

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

Adding windows to a house is expensive. Budget roughly $5,800 to add a single window, and double or triple that to add two or three. In some cases, adding a single window can exceed $20,000, depending on the type of exterior wall, the size of the window, the type of window, local permit costs, and other factors.

An egress window is similar to a regular window. However, this type of window opens fully to allow people to escape the home or rescue personnel to enter the home if an emergency occurs. Egress windows are required in all finished basements before they can be considered a living space.

The cost to install a bow window can range from $1,500 to $15,000, with a national average of $3,900. The total price includes materials, which can cost between $1,200 and over $14,000, and labor, which typically adds $300 to $1,900. Several factors influence the final cost, including the window's size and frame material. For example, vinyl frames are the most budget-friendly option, while wood frames are more expensive. Custom features or energy-efficient upgrades will also increase the price. For comparison, a bay window installation typically costs between $1,000 and $7,000.

Egress windows are typically required for basements with habitable space or living quarters. Not all basements or lower levels require egress windows. However, egress windows are required in homes with living spaces such as bedrooms and living rooms in a basement. The International Residential Code and International Building Code require sleeping rooms to have a specific size egress window. Check your local building codes to confirm the requirements in your area.

There are a few ways to save money on egress window installation. First, choosing pre-fabricated windows instead of custom windows can help dramatically reduce the overall cost. In addition, skipping window extras, like customized frames or window film, can help save money on the price tag without sacrificing the window itself. You should also shop around to multiple window installers to find the best installation deal without sacrificing the quality of the window.
