Lujan's did a beautiful job on my stucco. Truly beautiful.

Our old stucco was in very bad shape and literally falling apart. My husband and I are so pleased with the beautiful new stucco Lujan & Sons applied. Since I had just been laid off from my job, they started the initial reinforcing of the old stucco and delayed finishing until we called them back months later. It was a hard job for them to do as we had security bars on the windows that they had to remove and re-install. I would definitely hire them again and my neighbor across the street will be contacting them today!

NOT RECOMMENDED! This is by far my worst contractor experience. I was left completely in the dark on project start dates, delays, return and finish dates, and special order updates. I grew extremely frustrated, and was eventually forced to conclude Lujan & Sons Constr. (LSC) has no concern for customer satisfaction. LSC was contracted for a tar/gravel re-roof and parapet repair. Here is just a PARTIAL list of what I experienced, and what should be considered red flags for potential new customers. - HSC failed to pull a permit, as required by the city. I checked with the city the day after the job was finished, and again 1 week later. JSC even cashed my final payment BEFORE I forced them to pull a permit with a series of documented text messages. - 2 delays on my re-roof project start date without any advance notification (once, they called THAT morning). - I had to spend 45 minutes every evening cleaning up after the roofers around the entire perimeter of my home. The debris included roof gravel with sticky tar, which forced me to wear shoes covers. I soon discovered they swept roof gravel into my decorative rock and flower gardens. - In one instance during my evening clean up, the roofers left several large pieces of lumber next to my driveway, which protruded 8-9 inches into the sidewalk. Very dangerous, and another city ordinance violation. I was forced to move them myself. - Without my permission, they used MY waterhoses, pushbroom and even my A-frame ladder (to hang plastic over the windows). Talk about a major contractor NO-NO!! For liability reasons, I NEVER would have allowed them to use my A-frame ladder! - They double-kinked my water hose in the frontyard to "turn off the water", and once left the water running for hours until I turned it off. - They threw trash in my recycle bin, which included a beer bottle wrapped in aluminum foil. - HSC asked for a progress payment, which was NOT in the terms of the agreement; I refused. - I never once received a phone call asking if I was satisfied with the work, with the work crew, with their daily clean up, if they were on time in the morning, if they worked a full day, if I had any concerned or complaints that needed to be addressed, etc. Not once. To put my review in perspective, I have been a homeowner for 30 years; this is not my first experience with contractors, both good and bad. I believe this makes me more than qualified to provide potential customers an objective review based on facts, many of which are documented with photos and text messages. Lastly, HSC has given me NO reason to believe I was provided a high quality roof and parapet repair that will last 20+ years. They showed no concern in my immediate satisfaction, so why should I believe they are interested in my satisfaction 15 or 20 years down the road!? I would strongly advise against using this company!!

It didn't happen. T ithey showed up to do an estimate. They said they would email us the cost to have the work done and we never heard from them again

I was very satisfied with this company. Frank Lujan, the president, did the original estimate and was in frequent touch with me throughout the process. His crews were on time and very professional and friendly. Their work was excellent. The final cost matched the original estimate and there were no problems throughout the process. I highly recommend Lujan & Sons for any work that may be needed at your household.

Not responsive to my followup queries of 4 voicemails, 2 emails to clarify quoted services so I could book work.

Lujan and Sons were referred to us by our realtor who has worked in Albuquerque for forty years. She said Lujan and Sons were the ONLY stucco company she recommends. And I understand why. Frank was extremely professional, polite and responsive. The price was fair, the quality was outstanding and the workers were efficient and clearly very experienced. I would HIGHLY recommend Lujan and Sons for stucco work. We also had window replaced that was affordable and done very well.

Excellent. They carefully repaired the underwork and stucco around the new windows. They took great pains to match the paint and cleaned up neatly. They were pleasant to deal with.

The project went extremely smoothly. Frank Lujan came out to my house and gave me a quote for the work to be done. A big crew showed up on the day the work was scheduled to begin. The workers were very skilled and hardworking. The entire project took about 3 weeks and my house looks great! I would definitely recommend Lujan and Sons if you need to re-stucco.

After getting several bids and learning much more about stucco than I ever wanted to, I could not be happier that I chose Lujan & Sons!!!! This is true, high-quality work; reinforced parapets, crack repair and careful craftsmanship. No pressure, just a fair price (not discount, but significantly less than comparable competitors) for an excellent job. They worked with me to get the color I wanted. Every interaction I had with the crew/office staff was professional and pleasant. I am confident my beautiful new stucco will last for decades!

We live in an HOA community that has a unique fan design on the stucco. Our community is about 25 years old. We are the first residents to re-stucco and were greatly concerned whether the company we selected would be able to match that predominant stucco design. Frank Lujan assured me they had skilled masons capable of doing so. Indeed, they stuccoed a small test area in the back yard for the benefit of our HOA Architectural Control Committee. The Committee granted us quick approval upon seeing their work. Within two weeks the Company completed re-stuccoing our home and the results exceeded our expectations. While the stucco work is a messy undertaking, the workmen minimized it by placing tarps around the entire work area. They arrived early each morning and, despite the very hot July temperatures, worked diligently until the day's end. They were all friendly, professional and competent. I can't say enough about how impressed we were with this company. They came through with everything they promised, and more.

Lujan and Sons Construction did an excellent job in stuccoing our house and installing some windows.Everyone who worked on our house performed in a professional manner. This has to be the best Stucco company in Albuquerque. We highly recommend Lujan and Sons.

Apron was separating from house on all sides as it was incorrectly installed by a major tract home builder. Lujan reconstructed where necessary, bridged gap with mesh, and applied color-matched acrylic stucco. Turned out well for a repair job. Great cleanup afterwards. I was referred to them by the premier stucco company in the area that no longer accepts stucco repair work (I.e. they only offer whole-house restucco).

They did a wonderful job. I had hired this company a few years ago to do a parapet repair so I was aware of the quality of their work. When the time came for a complete re-stucco they were the ones I called. Everybody I dealt with was extremely kind and helpful and they went out of their way to assure that the stucco texture, etc. was exactly how I wanted it. Also, they were very considerate regarding the clean-up and working around quite a bit of existing foliage to cause the least amount of disruption. Their professionalism in every regard was exemplary.

Excellent service and worksmanship

Hire These Guys!!! We got estimates from four A listers with Lujan well lower then the rest. Without Angie's List reviews, we would have been skeptical, but they did a fine job - arrived on time, everyone respectful of my wife, and listening to our concerns. The only issue (Professionalism, as noted above) was that one of their techs used the bush in the front of our house as a bench instead of moving it out of the way - it was in sad shape when the job was completed - and took some time to get it back - including a trip from the sprinkler guy to reset it under the bush. They started and completed the job exactly as they said they would and it really looks great.

Our house looks fantastic. The whole re-stucco process took about 6 months. We met with Frank to get an estimate and discuss our options. It took us a long time to decide to go forward with the project. Throughout the whole time, Frank and office staff were responsive and promptly got back to us to answer our questions. The work itself took about 4 weeks and his entire crew worked hard and was punctual and professional. They cleaned up after each day of work and came back to do a walk through and fix small problems, after we had paid the full amount.

My worst experience with a contractor, highly unprofessional Signed contract in May 2017, the approximate start date was July 19 2017, did not happen, had to call several times. Franks crew showed up on Sept 25th 2017 and completed the work on the 26th. Stucco looked good until it dried, there were ugly streaks and discolorations all over the stucco, see photo,Called Frank several times, showed up on Oct 5th to remove streaks, was somewhat successful but discolorations still remain. This Contractor #Has no respect for your time, follows no schedule and shows up only after you call him several times, does not return phone calls. #The crew left outlets uncovered, flagstone in disarray and windows dirty with film.

Exceeded our expectations. Lujan and Sons did a great job and I don't hesitate in recommending them for your re-stucco project. In fact, we plan to hire them again for a roof maintenance project. Our re-stucco looks great and has quality workmanship. Lujan rebuilt all of our parapets with diamond lathe and moisture barrier, along with a new base coat. Similar repairs were made to other problem areas. Lujan did a brocade finish using El Rey Fawn and we are very happy with the results. Of the 4 bids we received, Lujan was the second highest, but they had the most comprehensive and appropriate scope of work.

Luhan was selected from a list of four other contractors that we interviewed and we were not sorry we picked this company. They have done an excellent job in the prep work some of which no other contractor provided. They have been very thorough and very responsive to our needs. They keep us informed of the time schedule and are always willing to answer any questions we have. We have already recommended them to friends and Neighbors and would use them again if we needed more work done. It is a family owned business and they show pride in the work they do. They work as a well coordinated team. We are very happy with them.

I asked them multiple times to be sure to replace any bad plywood. They only replaced the board they stepped through. There are still three low boards that you can see from inside the shed have been compromised. They just didn't seem interested in doing more than the minimum required. There was not always a foreman on site.

I am very happy with the results even though there were a couple of glitches. Screens for two of the windows didn't fit but they kept having new ones made. One of the windows wasn't made (they are made by another company) as I ordered it and they replaced it right away. They are very capable, experienced, polite, and efficient. I had them give me an estimate for repairing stucco, I can't afford to do that right away they patched a very bad hole at no charge.

They did an outstanding job, professional, aesthetically pleasing, hard workers, and spotless clean up. Would definitely recommend this company for re-stucco.
