"The crew did the job, digging up and replacing 40 ft of main water line from the city line to the house, including installation of a pressure reducing valve. Overall COST was pretty expensive for labor considering the PEX tubing for the water line was the pretty much the only parts needed minus the pressure valve. I realize they go by a book that determines cost before work is actually done, though and I agreed to it. Kinda hard to get other estimates when you are in a pickle and need water in your home going asap during the holidays. Job got done and the 2 workers were nice guys. One complaint is I asked if there was a Veteran's Discount and they did include it but it was LESS THAN a 3% discount off the subtotal. Taking a star off for this and another for high labor cost."

Whitehorse was far less expensive than the other estimates I received, and Shaquille did a great job and installed a very high quality tankless heater. The first plumber I talked with warned me that others with lower bids likely would not get a permit or do everything necessary to get the new unit up to code (things like adding an expansion tank and updating the condensate drain lines), but Shaquille did all of it and the new unit passed inspection without any issues.
