"Harmond helped me over video link to test the components in my broken refrigerator. The testing confirmed that it was the compressor that had failed. I purchased a new refrigerator because I decided it was not worth the cost to replace the compressor."

"Tech Air winterized the evaporative cooler and turned on the boiler and radiant flooring at our Santa Fe home while we were away. They came from Albuquerque at a very competitive price. Kind and professional. Iâ ll recommend and hire Tech Air again without hesitation."

"It was the best experience I have ever had in working with someone off of home advisor or angies list. The recliner took him about 5 minues to assemble. I just needed someone to put the back of the recliner onto the base. He not only did that but made sure it worked as it is a powef recliner. After that he didn't even charge me! It didn't take long so he didn't feel right in charging me. He was very nice, wore a mask and had the knowledge to take care of the job quickly. I will be using him in the future for anything I need. I suggest you have your services performed by him also. You won't be sorry!"

"We selected the Roadrunner bid based on price, equipment to be installed, and Angie's list ranking. Mario and Paul did an absolutely outstanding job of reconfiguring our boiler room and installing all new boiler, water heater, piping, pumps, zone values, and thermostats. They installed the Weil-McLain Evergreen 299MBH boiler and the 55 gallon indirect Aqua Plus water heater. The boiler room looks fantastic and the boiler itself is now easily accessible. We were so pleased with the results and the responsiveness of Mario and Paul. After the final payment, we had a little problem. One call to Mario and he and Paul were at our house immediately to find and correct the issue. We were given a tour of our new boiler and its operating output to the screen. Mario told us to call him anytime. What phenomenal customer service. The new boiler has been operating for two weeks with no problems so far. We will update this review in the future if any changes occur."

"I looked up companies on HomeAdvisor hoping to find an electrician. I called two and Schmidt answered immediately and spoke to me in such a professional and courteous manner that I scheduled them to come and do the repair. I was very pleased by the quality of the work, and the genuine customer service as since they finished rather quickly, they also repaired a light that I mentioned wasn't working in my hall. I will definitely be using Schmidt in the future and recommend them to anyone needing electrical work."

"Great experience. Immediate call back, arrived on time for service, cleanup post service was very good. Will definitely use again."
The average cost to install a new water heater is around $1,300, but you can expect to pay between $875 and $1,750, depending on the kind of water heater, the size of the unit, and the professional chosen to complete the work. Tankless water heaters can push your price higher, as installation is more complicated, with prices as high as $3,500. The location and accessibility of your water heater will play a role in the project cost, as those sitting in tight spaces like a crawl space will drive up your labor costs.

It is very difficult and dangerous to install your own water heater, so we strongly recommend against tackling this as a DIY project. Not only will you need to wire your water heater, but you’ll also need to connect plumbing to the intake and outlet. Sweating copper pipes and connecting wiring properly are skills most DIYers don’t have, and even if you do feel confident you can do it, working with water and electricity always leaves the potential for electrocution. Hiring a local water heater installer is well worth the investment.
The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350.
