I did not have any time to do research on water heaters or purchase one myself for installation, so I just left it up to them to obtain a Rheem 40 gallon model. I ended up with one that is not Energy Star rated, which I would have attempted to get if I had been able, but I wanted to get this done today and not drag it out with research and shopping. I also purchased a HydroFlow S38 device for prevention of lime scale buildup and removal of existing lime scale. It is clipped on the cold water intake line. The internet is divided on this device and technology - some feel it is smoke and mirrors. I took a chance on it - time will tell. All in all, Indoor Comfort was very responsive and helpful. Wesley cleaned up the job site, which I always appreciate. The only down side was the cost, which seemed to me to be high on the installation charges, but I chose not to take the time to stop work and shop around."
