Bed bugs are highly sensitive to heat, so a hot blast with a hairdryer can draw them out of hiding. Providing a source of warmth, such as a heating pad or hot-water bottle, can attract and lure them out. Bed bug monitors and traps with pheromones can also be effective.
You should not spray pesticides of any kind into your air vents. The spray won’t reach far into the vent, minimizing its effectiveness in killing roaches, but more importantly, it’s dangerous for people and pets to inhale these chemicals.
