"They are a fine company, it took them 2 days to complete the work and it went beautiful. It was a clean and neat installation. The technician were fine craftsman. The system was expensive. It was a quality material and no sooner that it was installed it was cooling the house."

"This is my first time using Air Pro, Stephen called before he came, came at the time he was expected, was very knowledgeable, went about his work quickly and confidently. He used compressed air to clean furnace well and tapped the furnace flames so they would all burn blue. I hadn't seen this before with other companies. I usually see some orange in flames. The furnace does not make as much noise coming on as it usually does, so I kept watch on the thermostat and the flame after the appt. Furnace stayed at temp I put it on and flame was still blue. When it was on, I saw distinct channels of blue flames which I have not seen before. He didn't seem rushed, answered all my questions, appeared to like teaching, did not act like it was a bother. I was very happy with the experience and decided to get the yearly contract. They charge a little more than I was used to but they did give a 5% discount for 1st time customer. For the quality of work, I don't mind paying a little more. I googled the color of the flame and it said: A blue gas flame color means complete combustion. This indicates that the gas is being burned efficiently without any unburned and wasted gas. With complete combustion you get the maximum heat output from your gas and use less gas to generate heat with whatever appliance you are using. So, paying a little more may save me in the long run, I'll know in the spring. Will continue to use this company and will recommend them highly."

"Lou and Wesley were very responsive and happy to oblige by performing work that none of us had planned to do that day. I did not have any time to do research on water heaters or purchase one myself for installation, so I just left it up to them to obtain a Rheem 40 gallon model. I ended up with one that is not Energy Star rated, which I would have attempted to get if I had been able, but I wanted to get this done today and not drag it out with research and shopping. I also purchased a HydroFlow S38 device for prevention of lime scale buildup and removal of existing lime scale. It is clipped on the cold water intake line. The internet is divided on this device and technology - some feel it is smoke and mirrors. I took a chance on it - time will tell. All in all, Indoor Comfort was very responsive and helpful. Wesley cleaned up the job site, which I always appreciate. The only down side was the cost, which seemed to me to be high on the installation charges, but I chose not to take the time to stop work and shop around."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

Yes, government incentives and programs are available to encourage energy-efficient upgrades in many regions. These incentives may include tax credits, rebates, grants, and low-interest loans for homeowners who invest in energy-efficient improvements such as HVAC system upgrades, insulation, and efficient windows. The availability and specific details of these incentives can vary by location, so check with your local government or utility company to explore your options.

When winter rolls around, and you turn the heat on for the first time in a year, it’s normal to sense a light odor. This could smell a little like burning because some dust has gathered in the heating unit over the warm months and will fade away shortly after. However, there are some smells you should watch out for and take caution around: an egg-like sulfur smell or an electrical burn odor would indicate there’s something wrong. Turn it off and call a professional for maintenance as soon as possible.

Coolant and antifreeze are technically not the same thing. The difference between the two is the ratio of water to other chemicals. True antifreeze is mainly made up of either ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, while coolant comprises one part antifreeze and one part water. However, the terms coolant and antifreeze are often used interchangeably, even by pros.

Common problems include leaks, low pressure, and inefficient heating. Regular maintenance prevents many issues.

A furnace takes in cool air, heats it through the burner and heat exchanger, and sends the air on its way to warm your home. A boiler is a pressurized vessel that produces hot water or steam to heat the home and provide hot water. A boiler may or may not work together with a furnace.
