"Changing my 5 star review to 2 stars. We have had a HE Boiler as well as a AC/Heat Pump installed by them. Unfortunately we needed service today. I was willing to pay for Emergency service. They said they couldn't make it out for 14 days, because we did not have a service contract. Spent about $25k for the installations. Which apparently means nothing to them What makes matters worse, the Emergency Service we paid through another HVAC provider was only necessary because of an issue they created during the installation. During the installation Speer Air originally ran the line for the residual pump over the copper hot water line. Which over time burned through the residual line, and then cause a hole and leak on the copper pipe."

"Ever since Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric replaced a 5-year-old furnace that had been improperly installed by another contractor, we have relied on this North Jersey HVAC contractor for all our heating & cooling maintenance needs. Not only is the team responsive, polite, and professional, they have a great understanding of the latest HVAC technology and always recommend the best equipment. I recently had the company replace my downstairs HVAC system under the Carrier Cool Cash and PSEG Instant Rebates programs. The work was done efficiently, cleanly, and I am enjoying greater energy efficiency in my home. Next year I will have them replace my upstairs system under the same program. "This was the worst experience i have ever had with a company. They came and damaged my house and kept us without AC for days. They admitted to the extensive damage and went weeks before attempting to repair it. The services were never fully completed and they were paid over 90% of the job. I disputed the last 10% and provided overwhelming evidence of their negligence. And after a year their last ditch effort was to send collections letters. Don't walk, RUN from this company. I will provide pics and my my experience to anyone who is planning on using this company. Used to be family owned and was amazing. Second they sold it went downhill fast."
