"After I posted my initial reviews, the owners of Air Temp Service Co. (Mario and Lori) reached out to me, and wanted to make it right. They are a family owned business, and proud of the work they do.We talked about the issues with our interactions with their company. After some additional research, I agree that the Nest Thermostat does need a common wire, and its beneficial that we had it installed. The other issues were due to the technician that was working with us at that time. That technician was removed from the company a few weeks after the work at my house was complete. The technician was responsible for the up charge on service, and pushing us to replace the CPU for our central AC (this should have been communicated as being the worst case scenario instead of the first step to fix the issue).The outside unit which was the main job I contracted Air Temp Service Co. for was installed cleanly and quickly. It was good work. They have also removed the technician who caused my family so much grief. I would say if you are a potential new customer they are worth giving a shot. They will take care of the job, and if you do have an issue they will make it right."

After our regular HVAC maintenance company claimed to be too busy, we researched an alternate and found excellent reviews for Challenger. Access to our roof AC system is a bit tricky. It was no problem for Jorge of Challenger. He easily navigated the approach and the scuttle. The AC was in tiptop share in less than an hour, portal to portal. The price charged was fair and the work was clean and professional. Challenger has a "can do" attitude and approach to HVAC. Thank you Jorge for an excellent job. "First Alfano Mechanical Inc. came to my home, said they would do the job and called the office told them to get me on the schedule ASAP. Gave me a price per hour. Well he never called back to this day. Would not recommend them to no one. Job was to HARD for them. Also I had my AC on my worry free with PSEG and they made me take it off because they would not work on my unit in the tight spot that it was installed in my attic 11 years ago. SO WITH THAT BEING SAID: Celestial Air HVAC called when I first contacted Home Advisor and after not hearing back from Alfano(which I would not have hired because they didn t live up to anything he said while here), I called Celestial(and so glad I did) and they came the next day, said it was a hard job and a mess but nothing they couldn t handle. Anthony and Gus came the next day worked their butts off and I have my central air conditioning working right after 11 years. Great price and did over and above what was told to me in the beginning. I would recommend them to everyone and give them a 5 *****. We are very Happy People now. 👍👍😊😊"

"We recently had the pleasure of hiring Dawson Mechanical to have a new Navien tankless water heater installed. This was a little more than a straightforward job since the water heater was being relocated from a utility closet to the garage which was about 20 feet away. From the time I made the first call to Dawson, I had a good feeling about this company. Dave came over within a few days on a Saturday to look the job over and give me an estimate. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions we had. When the day came for the installation, a crew of 3 workmen arrived around 9:00 AM and did not stop until the job was finished around 5:00 PM. They did an excellent job, were very good about keeping everything clean and neat, and the workmanship was top notch. In short, we were very happy with everything and would not hesitate to use Dawson for our future plumbing/HVAC needs."
