A&S installed new AC in our home. The owner came out and was very patient answering our questions and provided an estimate. Work was done on time. Pricing was very reasonable and the work performed exactly to our expectations. They’re professional, Reliable and very easy to work with. Highly recommend A&S for any HVAC needs.

We have been using A&S Nathan for years. They replaced our heating and installed new central air conditioning for us a few years ago and everything has worked perfectly. We continue to use them for our annual tuneup, which was done a couple of weeks ago. The technician, Dave, is true pro. He was on time. He is extremely thorough and there is no doubt that the annual maintenance is why everything works so well. I highly recommend A&S for all your HVAC needs.

They are reliable, honest and operate with integrity. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for an HVAC company with some great technicians. Jake always takes the time to answer any questions I may have, and provides me with all the options available- from repair to replacement. I had multiple quotes and A&S gave me the best pricing, I highly recommend doing business with them.

The owner came to my house to talk about options for heating our great room. He was patient and explained the pros and cons of different options. We ended up going with a mini split. The techs arrived on time and kept the working area clean. I think the cost was reasonable. We now use them to service all our heating and air conditioning units.

A&S was over multiple times this year. Our capacitor went on our A/C in the summer, and not too long ago we woke up at 6am with no heat. In both cases Jake and his team were quick and responsive, and the issues were resolved that day! Our experiences with them are second to none! They are very professional, reliable, and trustworthy! It’s nice knowing we can count on a family owned business with our hvac!

I have been using A&S for years. I just bought a new house and the second floor air conditioning wouldn’t work. They came out diagnosed the problem and within a few days came back to install all the parts once they came in. They were polite, knowledgeable, clean and helpful on whole situation. I will continue using their service because they never disappoint and always solve and fix my problems.

Parts markups are RIDICULOUS.... downright criminal. 100-200% markups in some cases. 5 ft length of 3/4 PVC at Lowes is $2.50 - They charged me $20 for 4 ft!!! An inducer motor that sells for $200, I was charged $460!!! I totally understand that you need to markup parts. You need to pay someone to be on the phone ordering them, picking them up, etc. but to charge more than double is just ridiculous and taking serious advantage of people who have no clue how much some of these parts cost. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the first time around when I did all the recommended updates to my heating system and that's when the fun started. They left me with a busted pressure valve that leaked water all over my basement and a condensate discharge line that was not changed out when they installed a new condensate pump. I had to fix the condensate line myself! Then when my furnace on the other side of my house crapped out in the middle of winter, I was stuck calling them in a bind. That's when I got smacked with the BULL$#!^ $460 for a draft inducer! They bait you into a "Service Contract" with reasonable equipment maintenance pricing and 20% discount on labor. Then they show up and quote you through the roof for the parts and you pay through the teeth.

Had oil boiler. Did not clean up the heat exchange soot. Did not change nozzle. Only changed the oil filter. It is steal for them to do that to a customer. In addition, they charged $290 to change the ignition transformer. The part is only $45. It is a five minute work and they prey on customer who do not have knowledge about oil boiler heating and scare the customer to buy their upsale.

Did not fix the issue on the first visit - said I needed an electrician. At $200, the electrician evaluated and said it was a A/C condenser problem. Back came A&S Nathan who fixed the problem but not before switching out my thermostat without permission for a model I could find at Home Depot for $35.00. I was charged $155.00. Plus $155.00 labor for an air conditioning problem to begin with. When I called about the switched out thermostat, the owner invited me to check their dumpsters if I wanted the original one back. Not used to being treated so rudely nor having my home altered without my permission, I am writing this review. I would never have this person or his associates to my house again. Not recommended.

Kevin the service tech was on time and did the job as expected. I then contacted the company and setup a service contract for the rest of the season. I saw the review about adding oil to the tank and giving a low rating, they are a service company, not an oil company. Running out of oil is an operator error not a service error. So I would totally discount that rating.

Had a service contract with them, called for service technician shows up as expected on time. After being here for 5 mins he puts 10 gallons of oil and charges me almost $200. Excessive charge in my opinion for someone with a service contract.

On the first occasion the technician was reluctant to come out for the service call despite the fact that I had no heat. He did eventually come and was not able to fix the problem that night due to lack of the necessary parts (which is understandable given the hour.) When they called with a quote the next day a quick internet search showed that they had applied a usurious mark up to the parts. I don't begrudge companies getting a mark up it's a common and accepted practice. This was an unreasonable hike. I chose to have the work done elsewhere. On the second occasion , again an emergency call, the technicians were not able to replace to faulty parts, but were able to provide me heat. However, I was told that this was a temporary solution and that the house could get "sooted up" if I ran it too long. The techs also told my elderly father that they "didn't want to come back" to my house. Well, they got their wish. I has the work done with another company to my satisfaction. The technician from that company told me that the bypass Nathan had done to provide heat was not safe and should not have been done. That's my take. Only two small samples, but both were unpleasant.

My oil company service reps have been recommending replacing my in floor oil line for 2 years and gave me an estimate. I thought I should get other estimates just to be sure the price was right. I used Angie's List to find heating contractors in my area and found Aand S had good reviews. The owner came the next day to give me an estimate which was 50% less than I was quoted by my oil provider. We set up an appointment and he arrived right on time. I also requested that he replace a dripping outside faucet and shut off while he was here. He had me buy the parts I wanted and installed both for a one hour labor charge.
Very nice man and very professional. If I ever have plumbing or heating issues I will certainly use him.
