"The previous owner of our property used his French drain installation as a selling point, but shortly after we moved in we found water in the basement after a storm. It turned out that the "French drains" were a trench at the edges of the basement and a sump pump. The drains were not piped to the sump pump. We had Arid install real French drains with pipe to the sump pump well. Thus was in 2005 and we have not had any water in the basement since. Pat explained the job well and his team performed it quickly. They cleaned up well afterwards. The pump finally gave out last night (after almost 12 years). Arid is going to install new one on Friday."

"As I did the first time I used Bob Lindsay's company, I waited six months to write my review. After withstanding nearly 13" of water from Henri and Ida, I cannot recommend this company enough. We used Bob at my first house and decided to use him again when our final walkthrough of our house revealed a wet carpet in the finished basement. Bob's guys replaced the shallow existing window wells with much deeper, galvanized ones, backfilled them with stone and piped them into a perimeter channel drain that was then flashed and cemented to the basement floor height. The sump pump pit was installed and a battery backup system was provided and wired in. The outside grading around the window wells was also redone to slope any surface water away from the foundation. Due to our Radon mitigation system, a polyurethane caulk was also used to seal the system. We remained absolutely bone-dry these last few weeks despite rain falling at 2-3" per hour in some cases. The work is efficient, his guys are extremely friendly and skilled, and despite the messiness of the job, they do a fabulous job cleaning up. There is a certain peace of mind that having this type of work done provides, and you cannot put a price tag on it, especially if you plan on finishing (or refinishing) a basement. At the end of the job, Bob was even kind enough to have one of his guys tie in a 2" piece of PVC from the floor with a cap (which I then drilled a hole in) so I can run my dehumidifier constantly without ever having to empty the bucket. We have since refinished our basement to our liking and know for certain that this was the best home investment we could have possibly made. A friend of ours has also done her entire basement with Weather-Tite and had an equally wonderful experience. Thanks Bob for saving us not once, but twice."

Absolute Waterproofing and Renovations were highly recommended to me by a gentleman that does business with them everyday. Lou and his guys came when he said they would, finished when they said they would. They protected my house from dust and dirt by covering everything with plastic. The price was the most reasonable in comparison. They were professional, clean and trustworthy. "These guys could not be more terrific! They were able to diagnose a problem that no other waterproofing could. American A-1 was here 5 minutes and they knew exactly what our problem was. We didn’t know it but we have iron oxide in our ground which needs to be maintained yearly. Also our french drain hadn’t been dug out deep enough to begin with so our finished basement got completely ruined. It was a very low point in our life but these guys came in, did the DIRTY job with HEAVY lifting and never complained once. They were efficient, knowledgeable and cleaned up to perfection when they were done. They even paid for a cleaning service to come in as dust had gotten just about everywhere. "We placed a service call through Home Adivisor to secure bids to replace the main water line from the curb to the house. Titan Plumbing won the contract. Jimmy, the owner, was very responsive and had superb customer service. The team worked diligently to ensure that there was minimal affect to our finished basement and we are so pleased with the outcome. He has a great team and they did an awesone job on the clean up as well. They ran a little late and the project went over budget but we anticipated that it may due to the nature of our landscape and other structures. Moreover, we are very satisfied with the outcome and we would not hesitate to hire or recommend Titan Plumbing Sewer & Drain."

I first hired them to do the gutter work and then added on the basement drainage work and I have been very pleased with how each job turned out. $6,200 for the french drains/sump pump and $5,500 for the gutter drainage connection to the street. I would DEFINITELY recommend them and would DEFINITELY hire them again if I needed anything."

"Performance – It took the plumber, and his helper, about one hour to disconnect and remove the old unit. Then, it took this crew a little over 1.5 hours to install and connect the new unit. The work was done in three separate segments spanning about five hours. The physical quality of work was almost passable, and so was the manner by which the work was done. Communication - The plumber did not mention the cost of the job during the appointment phone-call, nor at the beginning of the job. When the job was almost finished, the plumber announced that the cost of the job will be $2100. The plumber provided minimal information about the operation of the heater, about the process for re-igniting the unit, and about interpreting the blinking signals of the control module. Warranties on labor and equipment were not mentioned. Pricing - The price of $2100 is twice the going rate that is charged by plumbers in this area for replacing a water heater. Additionally, the plumber did not mention the option of paying for the job through a credit card, nor did he mention the 5% discount that is currently offered by this business entity to members of Angie’s List."
