I had a blockage in my sewer line and called a company that I usually use, they came out and power snaked the line but to no avail. In my opinion, they should charge by the real hours worked plus materials. In my case, there is no way to justify a fixed price of $280 for installing a simple faucet into an ultra-clean kitchen when I am supplying the faucet. This type of job is so simple, that I would have done it myself in less than an hour if I was not 74 and could not bend down into the cabinet."
