Helen reached out to arrange things as soon as I requested a quote, and she was both thorough and flexible when I told her I would have some last second additions/subtractions to my move. On the day of the move, they were highly communicative about their arrival time and then swiftly packed all of my items and moved them in less time than I even booked. Since they had extra time, the guys even did some extra work taking apart extra items in my apartment and packaging them for me to throw out on my own. "Capital City Movers NYC are exceptional movers! Previously I had never found a moving company that I was overly satisfied with. I had posted in a facebook group and someone recommended them. I was hesitant at first but after speaking with the company I felt much more comfortable using them. They are pleasant to speak with and were very thorough when listing out the item move list. Their prices are also very reasonable. I was then able to modify the list as the move got closer and I had a better idea of what my list was. The day of the move the three movers arrived on time and were very efficient. They were careful with all my items and followed instructions thoroughly. I also thought they had great personalities. The three guys were very tall and very strong. I used foreman Peter and two other guys. I find a lot of moving company movers are miserable. "I would recommend Mahwah Movers. This was the second time using them when I moved. When I moving into a co-op, it was all last minute and Mike made room for me so we could move by the end of the month. June is a very busy for moving. I was very appreciative and was so relieved that he was able to help me. I later called him up in July as I found two pieces of furniture that I had purchased. I called Mike last minute and told him the pieces of furniture had to be picked up in a few days as the sellers were moving. I was a nervous wreck, but again Mike came through for me.
