"Joel their sales rep assured us our apartments would be rotated so the inside of each unit was checked at least every six months. Got the bait and switch bc they never did this and we had a cockroach infestation that went on for a year. They lied to me and then their manager claimed “we don’t see it in the contract”. Freedom Pest Control has been providing superior pest control and animal control services for over 28 years. "I received a quote for trapping & removal of raccoon mother & babies of $295. Chris the main technician was great. He explained everything. All my good ratings relate to him. We spoke about exclusion work once the family was gone. My problem is that the exclusion never occurred. I was under the impression that it was going to be done. Chris was going to give me a name of a contractor to perform a formal repair (that I understood would be additional monies), the wire mesh exclusion would be done as an interim. I did receive a bill for additional $250 but thought it was for the exclusion work, so I wasn’t going to pay until the exclusion was completed. In the meantime squirrels took up space a month later. After several bills & one threatening my credit, I called and spoke to 1 woman ( I believe Penny) who took my calls, but none from Norma the office manager. I was told by Penny the additional money due from the repeated bills was for original trappings. We sorted out everything. I had no issue with paying for the additional trappings (even though I was quoted & signed the contract for a lesser amount). But the real reason for the bad review, is because Penny told me they would come back & eliminate & exclude the squirrels that have taken up residence in the space from the raccoon family for a reduced amount. When I got the new quote, there was absolutely no discount! The price was the same amount for 1 squirrel ( I had told them I saw at least 2) that I paid for the raccoon family & the exclusion was additional. I felt that had the job been completed as originally discussed, I wouldn’t have needed to have squirrels evicted for an additional full charge. I am vey disappointed in the miscommunication by the office staff, despite the great service of the technicians."

Besides reptile sightings, look for droppings resembling small pellets. Shed skin left behind during growth is another clue. Unusual chirping or rustling sounds could also suggest an infestation. If proper pest prevention measures aren't taken, a lizard can live up to five years. And that's a long time to have an undesirable roommate.

It’s very rare to find mice in a bed frame or mattress outside of the most extreme infestation scenarios. That said, your bedroom isn’t off limits for mice if it offers them shelter, food, and warmth. Look for any gaps or openings a mouse could squeeze into, and don’t keep food in your bedroom. 

Bleach, which can kill drain flies, can also kill fruit flies, but it’s better to lure fruit flies to a liquid rather than applying chemicals, as it’s very difficult to reach them all. A more practical approach is to lure fruit flies with traps made from liquids like apple cider vinegar mixed with dish soap. This method is safer and more efficient, since it targets a larger number of fruit flies without relying on harsh chemicals that may not reach all the pests.
