Joel their sales rep assured us our apartments would be rotated so the inside of each unit was checked at least every six months. Got the bait and switch bc they never did this and we had a cockroach infestation that went on for a year. They lied to me and then their manager claimed “we don’t see it in the contract”. I want a refund. You’ve been doing nothing productive. I can lay my own ant traps for less than $2k a year.

I've been using their service almost 20 years. They're been fantastic and are knowledgeable to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.

Used them for 3 years. In the last year, major deterioration of services. Failed appointments, arbitrarily change appointments, did not return calls, and even takes 2-4 weeks to schedule an appointment. Not acceptable when pests are in the house.
Response from JP Pest Services
"Hello [Member Name Removed] We first would like to thank you for your feedback and for bringing these issues to our attention. We understand that one of our managers has been in contact with you to ensure your concerns were addressed. We wanted to check in with you to make sure that you have continued to receive the same great service that you’ve grown to trust. We appreciate your patience and understanding with the scheduling and response delays you experienced in 2020. The pandemic presented challenges for everyone and our business was no exception. Again, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we navigated through a challenging year. We look forward to continuing to provide you with superior service. John DeSisto arrived on time to do a bed bug inspection (we had previously spotted a few). He did a thorough inspection of every bed and couch in the house and, thankfully, turned up nothing (apparently our attempts to deal with the bugs ourselves worked). He gave us some good advice on how to prevent problems should there be a few still lingering. He did NOT try to sell us any unnecessary services, for which we were grateful. Finally, he did NOT charge us anything for his considerable amount of time. The bottom line is he was thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and reasonable. We'll be sure to call him should the bed bugs turn up again.

They were willing to come on an as-needed basis for wasps, but I was chagrined to hear that we couldn't hire JP Pest just once to take care of existing mice. They said that the only way they treated those was with a yearly contract that includes quarterly monitoring. They said there really was no other way because new mice would just replace the old quickly. However, the yearly contract would include not just rodents but also the bees and wasps, ants and spiders. In the end, after calling around, I agreed to the yearly contract, which was reasonably priced. JP Pest uses the least toxic and most humane methods they can. And bonus: the tick population seems to have declined measurably with the disappearance of the mouse colonies.
Response from JP Pest Services
"Thanks for the great review [Member Name Removed]! I'm sorry if our folks didn't explain fully about rodent issues. Rodents are just too persistent and way too capable of repopulating a structure to attempt anything like a One Time treatment. Rodent control is an example of something that needs to occur as a process rather than an event. We would much rather initiate something that will be successful than to pretend that something less is also effective when we know full well that it won't be. If you have an further questions, I'd be happy to speak with you. Thanks again for your kind words. We look forward to helping you! Chris Pestana VP"

They're great. They're polite and professional. They dress appropriately and are considerate with our neighbors when they do work outside. They're always my go-to provider. I've been using them for years.

Squirrels were in attic and now appear to be gone. Entry points were blocked. One way doors and final close up is yet to be completed. Also treated for mouse infestation. No mice caught in several weeks and many entry points were blocked. Winter will tell for sure if all entry points were plugged, so far so good. Squirrel removal and blocking entry points seemed high priced for the less than 1/2 day work required by 1 person, over $1600. A return trip is needed but suspect will require less than 30 minutes, I wish I tried to negotiate on the price, the squirrel work was three times the cost of mouse work and both took about same amount of time. The mouse work is under 1 year agreement with 3 quarterly visits as well.

They gave me a 2 hour window and both times the workers arrived on time. They were knowledgeable, professional, and were very responsive to my concerns. They require a year long contract, and come out every quarter. They do a free 2 week follow up after the first visit. During the initial visit, the pest control professional placed stations with poison in various locations and blocked some places where the mice were entering. She also showed me that there was an issue with the bulkhead. I did find one dead mouse outside but haven't seen any others since that first visit. She found evidence of ants and wasps and suggested I upgrade (which means they would deal with other critters in addition to the mice). I wish I had done that initially since it's not that much more expensive, but now I'll have to wait until the 3 month visit for that, since I don't want to pay for an extra visit.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with JP Pest mold division. Matt and his crew were honest, professional and thorough from the day he came to do the quote until the day they completed the project. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to eliminate a mold problem for a very fair price (another company gave us a quote over 6x higher for the same job!).

The service I received for mice and insect removal was very good. The technician was very helpful and professional. However, the estimate they gave me for flying squirrel removal was very high.

I agreed to a year-long program. They have come to the house twice; first to try to figure out where they are coming in and set the bait and then a couple of weeks later to follow up. They will follow up quarterly. There is an initial cost and then a cost for the quarterly follow-up ($75). Well worth it. They call a half hour before they will actually be at my house so I don't have to sit and wait for them at home and miss work. Very helpful. I wish I did this a long time ago.

Justin and Ross arrived on time and inspected my flues and installed a temporary fix and the cap was ordered and when it arrived at JP an appointment was made for the installation. They arrived on time and all went well. BTW no charge for the inspection call and the pricing for the cap was reasonable based on other quotes I obtained. I would definitely hire them again!
