"Joel their sales rep assured us our apartments would be rotated so the inside of each unit was checked at least every six months. Got the bait and switch bc they never did this and we had a cockroach infestation that went on for a year. They lied to me and then their manager claimed “we don’t see it in the contract”. I want a refund. You’ve been doing nothing productive. I can lay my own ant traps for less than $2k a year."

Most bed bug infestations require two to four treatments within a three- to six-week span to eliminate. For smaller infestations in a less-than-average-sized home, you may only need one inspection visit plus one treatment visit. For severe cases or large homes, you may need quarterly, monthly, or semi-monthly visits from an exterminator.

When looking for natural roach repellent options, citrus, bay leaves, cucumber, garlic, and catnip may all help to keep cockroaches away. When an infestation requires a bigger intervention, boric acid, baking soda, diatomaceous earth (DE), and soap mixed with water are all considered natural and nontoxic roach treatments.

You're more likely to find a hobo spider outside rather than inside your home. If you do find one in your home, don't panic. You can remove the spider by catching it in a glass or cup and transporting it outside. You may also vacuum up the spider and remove it by emptying the vacuum bag.
