Hazim was responsive, on time, professional and efficient. I had an idea what was wrong and I could tell I was dealing with someone honest. Replaced a door switch after testing and diagnosing and even came back another day to install a new light bulb in it for me. I appreciate his service and hope he’s around when I need other repairs because I will definitely reach out to him.

It went well. He went to the house without me, because I didn't have time to drive across town so I gave him the lock box code. It took a couple of days for him to get the parts. His prices are reasonable, he's trustworthy and I didn't need to get a new dishwasher.

Hazim put on the new keypad, and it didn't work. Over about 30 minutes he worked with both keypads, and figured out the old one worked once he had unplugged it and reseated all the connections. He took it on himself to return the new keypad he had ordered to get credit, and I paid him a very fair amount for the service call and his labor. He was a pleasure, got our microwave fixed, and now I won't call anyone else as long as he's available to do our appliance repairs.

Hazim was terrific. Immediately knew the problem, and immediately fixed the problem. This was the second time calling RHS for appliance issues, and both times Hazim fixed the problems immediately. He was prompt, and very pleasant. I consider Hazim and RHS a real find for anyone needing appliance repair.

This repairman was sent out by my home owners warranty company and allegedly works on Bosch Appliances. When I talked to him on the phone he asked exactly what was wrong and I said the clock was losing time, nothing else that I knew of. He came out, played with the controls on the oven to make sure everything else was working, and left saying he didn't know what to do and would call Bosch and get back to us. We never heard from him again. He didn't ask for money so we shrugged it off but now I am being billed for his service by the insurance company. I have since called Bosch and found out he is not one of their authorized service companies.

We found a good one! Hazim arrived as scheduled. He knew exactly the problem with the microwave, obtained the part needed and installed it. Microwave works perfectly. Hazim is very pleasant and easy to work with and the charges are very reasonable. He is the one we will call if we need appliance service again.

Realized that the guy who had tried to fix it before (from another company) had shorted out the control panel. I was wondering why he left and wouldn't call me back. Hazim figured it out and suggested I just buy another one since it was probably not going to be worth it to fix my older model dishwasher. He did not charge me for the service call or work that he did to figure that out. I bought a new one and had Hazim install it--faster (the next day) and cheaper than the store I bought it from would do. He did a fantastic job, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I highly recommend him.

My microwave began having a problem a week or so ago. It's 8 years old, so I wasn't totally surprised. I assumed I would just replace it. The problem with that approach is that this isn't just 'a microwave' - it's a THERMADOR MBBS/01 MICROWAVE, which must do way more than just heat and cook things quickly, because as I shopped for a replacement, I found that an equivalent Thermador product was going to cost me $700 (not a typo!) and what's more, I found that the trim kit for my MBBS/01 unit would not fit the MBES/01 replacement unit (current model) so that tacks on another $400. I was quite shocked to say the least! So, I decided to investigate repair options. I found Hazim at RHS Appliance Repair on Angie's List and emailed him some info. He responded within a day or so, and we set up an appt to take a look. Hazim quickly diagnosed that this was a magnetron problem (which I had sort of already figured out by reading symptoms and info online). He said that he could fix it for somewhere < $200 most likely. That sure does beat $1100 in my opinion! He ordered the part, then showed up a few days later to do the replacement. He was quick and efficient. Microwave's aren't terribly complex machines, so I felt fortunate that he was able to quite a reasonable price for the part and the labor. Overall, the labor charge was a bit higher than I anticipated for a repair that took a total of 45 minutes, but I'm happy with the final outcome so I won't worry about it too much. I'd call him again if the need arises. Price listed below is $120 for labor and $64 for parts.

He really actually did a lot of work and charged us very little. He went back and forth with us a lot, so he did well. We were very pleased with him. We'll use him again. We ended up bringing it to his house, but that was our choice because he forgo and he sort of charged to come look at it; if we brought it to his house then it was convenient enough for us to do that. He was very honest and upfront and was very fair with the price in the end.

Serviceman was on time and provided helpful options. Diagnosed problem quickly and also compared repair cost to the cost of purchasing a new dishwasher. He was friendly and professional.
