Customers say: True professional

"Excellent, very well organized, professional work. They were very diligent to place mats on the damp lawn to protect it from damage by the machines. Team worked very efficiently and safely. Very courteous team. They spent a good amount of time cleaning up debris and left the lawn in really good shape. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Over my 20+ years at this house, I've used several other tree companies but this one is for sure the one I'll call first next time I need tree services."

"The office staff is friendly and responsive. The estimator showed up as scheduled and texted prior to arrival. The crew of 5 arrived on time on the day of service. They are a skilled and polite team who pruned the large branches, directing them so there was no damage to the surrounding plants. They cleaned up completely. This is our 2nd service with A+. Last year they felled a diseased tree on our property line that other companies were hesitant to touch. Great competent service. Highly recommend"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Raleigh homeowners may encounter extra charges for tree removal permits, especially for protected species or trees in historic districts. Stump grinding, hauling large debris, or accessing tight backyards with specialized equipment can add to project complexity. If tree roots have impacted sidewalks or utilities, repairs may be needed. Some neighborhoods require replanting after removal, so clarify all potential requirements and services before work begins.

Helpful?

In Raleigh, be wary of tree service quotes that don’t include a detailed written scope, especially for tree removal or tree trimming. Avoid companies that can’t provide references from local neighborhoods like North Hills or Five Points. If a provider lacks proof of insurance for both liability and equipment, or recommends topping native species like oaks or maples, consider it a warning sign. Never pay in full before work begins.

Helpful?

In Raleigh, combining tree service with landscaping, fence installation, or driveway work is efficient, especially if you address root issues before new projects. Tree removal or trimming ahead of roof repairs or exterior painting can prevent debris damage and streamline scheduling. Consider planning major tree work during late winter, when trees are dormant, to minimize disruption and prepare your property for spring upgrades.

Helpful?

Raleigh homes with mature hardwoods or large pines, especially near homes or driveways, often need tree service. If you notice fungal growth, dead branches, or roots lifting sidewalks, it’s time for a professional assessment. Properties in areas with frequent storms or recent construction—like those in Midtown or near new developments—benefit from regular tree trimming and health checks to protect both trees and structures.

Helpful?

Tree service in Raleigh offers immediate safety by addressing storm-damaged limbs and improving visibility around driveways. Over time, regular tree trimming helps native species like loblolly pines thrive, supports the city’s shade goals, and enhances curb appeal in established neighborhoods. Ongoing care also reduces the risk of pests common to NC, such as cankerworms, and helps maintain property value in Raleigh’s competitive market.
