R Watkins Tree Service did a fantastic job on our yard! Came out to give a quote the same day I called. Needed one tree removed, several large limbs, and tree debris in the yard. Very reasonably priced for great quality work!!! Highly recommend!

Watkins Tree service did a great job. I called one day, got an extimate the following morning and had a crew out doing the work that day. Very professional job, good clean up and even cut and stacked fire wood for us. I have used them before and would do so again.

Description of Work
I had a very large pine tree (at least 50 feet) in the backyard close to the house that needed to be removed. I also had two tall dead pines and wanted those dropped, sectioned, and laid across the back on my natural area for a retained barrier. I called Mr. Watkins on a Tuesday late afternoon and he came that same early evening. We agreed on a price, I received the insurance certificate the next morning from the insurance company (e-mail) and work was to be done the next Monday. Due to heavy rains that week, the work was rescheduled for the following Tuesday. They arrived on time and completed the work in a timely and professional manner, cleaning up all residue and even cleaned our deck since it was my wife's Birthday. Mr. Watkins was very diligent in how he approached the removal of the tree due to constricted area in the backyard and a Dogwood tree next to the large pine. There was also a large oak next to the pine and overhanging my roof. Mr. Watkins suggested and we agreed to also remove the oak at the same time. Removal was made on all trees without damaging the Dogwood or other surrounding bushes. Safety was a top priority also. All limbs and trunk sections from the dead pine and the live oak were hand-carried around the side of my home due to constrictions on one side, limbs were chipped, and trunk sections removed. They also removed any debris that fell into the HOA common area at the back of my home.

Description of Work
It's been a while since I used Ranzell to remove some trees but I've used him a few times over the years and been happy with the results. He sometimes brings a big work horse with him to pull trees out and that's fun to watch. (I do not, however, recommend his brother's service! Make sure you get Ranzell.)

We have seen Mr. Watkins advertising the sale of fire wood in his front year whenever we visited Idelwild Park. My husband pulled in his drive way and spoke with Mr. Watkins. They agreed on a pick-up truck load of wood for $100.00. Mr. Watkins said they would be at the house by 5 PM that day. He called after 6 PM to get directions to the house. The load was a heaping pick-up full of wood. However, the wood is not all cut the same length and we did not notice this until my husband started to stack it. We hope that the larger pieces will fit our fireplace. We most likely will use his service again for some trees that need to be cut down in our back yard.

Since we have a wood burning fireplace and used up all the wood we bought a few years ago we needed to replenish.
