"The tree removal went very well. This was a very large tree and to be taken down between other trees and away from the house, which it was leaning toward and would have done massive damage had it fallen on the house. They really threaded the needle taking down each of four poles, each of which was the size of a large tree. Mike was exceptional to deal with as was his crew. They were professional and the job was run like a military drill. Very efficient. We will definitely use them again. Note: we did have a 2 day delay; rain in the first day; family emergency with supervisor the next. No fault of the company."

"A2Z quoted me a reasonable price compared to all of the other tree services listed here on Anji. Kenneth and his team came in and went to work on a massive oak tree covered in kudzu that had split, along with removing small overgrown saplinngs covered in kudzu. It was a huge job to tackle but A2Z was ready to take it on. Kenneth was attuned with what I was wanting done. Him and his team worked hard and efficiently to complete the job. I was pleased with their hard work and would recommend A2Z if you’re looking to hire a professional tree service company."

Small jobs welcome

"The estimate was reasonable and the work they did was remarkable. There was no sign they were ever there except for the dead trees being gone. Very conscientious of how the tree line looked upon completion and they worked around my fence. Great job!"

"Greg got the work done correctly. It was a huge tree. If it had fallen, I would not have had a house left. He was chosen over the other companies listed on Anji's because he has liability insurance that would have protected my property and workers compensation to protect his workers. Most tree services do not protect their workers. He shared the importance of this before I even chose him. He also provided the documents to prove the insurance. He had a far better price than my other 2 estimates. He is the friendliest contractor and never stops smiling. He is very serious about his work, took measurements, suggested I call 811 for any underground utilities to be located before his began. He had a small workspace in my yard to work with, but they completed the task without incident. His whole crew were professional and friendly. I definitely would hire him again! Great job Greg!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

In High Point, common mistakes include topping crepe myrtles, trimming trees during summer heat, and planting species like Bradford pears that struggle in local soil. Failing to check for underground utilities before tree removal or skipping HOA approval can cause issues. Over-mulching and hiring unlicensed workers are also frequent errors. Always consult a local tree service professional familiar with High Point’s unique climate and neighborhood requirements.

Helpful?

Investing in tree service in High Point can noticeably increase your home’s curb appeal and resale value. Well-maintained trees, especially native species like willow oaks or dogwoods, attract buyers and boost property desirability. Healthy, trimmed shade trees can lower cooling costs in summer and reduce storm damage risk. A tidy landscape with professional tree removal or pruning also makes a strong first impression for potential buyers.

Helpful?

In High Point, it’s a good idea to schedule tree service if you see dead limbs after winter storms, branches near Duke Energy lines, or mushrooms growing at the base of oaks and maples. Spring and fall are best for tree trimming and pruning, while summer heat can reveal drought stress. Always check if your neighborhood or HOA has specific tree removal or trimming guidelines before starting any work.

Helpful?

Your High Point home is a great candidate for tree service if you have mature hardwoods like sweetgums or tulip poplars, or if your lot is near wooded areas such as Oak Hollow Lake or Emerywood. Homes with clay soil benefit from regular tree trimming to prevent root problems. If you notice overgrown branches shading your roof or blocking sunlight, tree pruning or removal can improve both safety and yard health.

Helpful?

In High Point, homes with narrow driveways, steep slopes, or limited backyard access can make tree removal or trimming more complex. If your property borders busy streets like Main Street or has power lines overhead, extra planning is needed. Pools, fences, and outbuildings may also limit equipment access. Historic districts or gated communities often require advance notice or special permits for tree service projects.
