Things moved along quickly for tree felling. Glad company had liability insurance. Clean up was average to less than average; has required and will require many more hours of home owner time.

Green Scenes Tree Service was at my house early the next morning and quickly had the mess cleaned up so we could get the insurance people access to the house to start the repair process. This was the second time in the last couple of years we have had some tree storm damage that we needed some help resolving in a timely manner. Jim was able to help us in a timely manner on both situations and I felt like the costs were very reasonable under the circumstances - did not feel like he took advantage of the situation.

it could not have gone any better. the work performed was exactly to my expectations. Since the trees removed were in my front yard I was concerned about residual debris, scarring and divots in the grass, but when i came home from work there was no evidence any work had been performed other than the sawdust from the stump grinding (left on my instruction so i could use it as mulch elsewhere). i was just suddenly minus 3 overgrown precarious trees.

Jim is FABULOUS! His work and cleanup we so excellent that my brother (who is in construction) said that when we went by my father's house later that day to check on Jim's work, that HE DID NOT SEE ANY SAWDUST! My brother was amazed. Add this to the fact that Jim's rate was excellent compared to another quote that I received. If you are looking for someone to service trees, including trees that are both BIG and CLOSE to your house, HIRE JIM. His work made my dad very happy.

Cut down and removed a tree that was dying. Trimmed up other trees in the same area. Cleaned up the work site satisfactorily. He was friendly and courteous.

It took him a few days to stop by but when he did, we discussed what I had in mind and he let me know how he would perform the job and what I should expect when he was finished. He told me it would take him a few weeks to get to me because he was overbooked but was actually at my home within the week. I was away on business but he completed the job without being paid and only asked that I drop a check in the mail. The trees turned out just how I wanted them and the work was done exactly how we discussed.

We worried that a big hickory tree in our backyard would, at some point, fall on the house since it was so close. Significant damage was at the base of the tree, where it had possibly been nicked by construction machinery years ago and weakened. Mr. Maddox looked at the tree and his assessment was independently in agreement with our neighbor's assessment (our neighbor is a horticulturist), so we realized he knew his stuff. In addition to damage, he said there were likely carpenter ants and termites that had further weakened it. When he took the tree down, we found just as he said, carpenter ants and termites about halfway into the trunk. He said it had A LOT of nuts, a sign that the tree is 'on its way out' and likely wouldn't make it another season or two. He completed the job in just a few hours, left no mess, and hauled the trunk pieces off.

Jim Maddox is the man we use. He did a good job and very energetic while he was doing it. He didn't leave a mess behind and his prices are very reasonable.

I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS TREE SERVICE TO SEVERAL. I THINK THEY HAVE A REASONABLE RATE. THEY WORK IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT.
