"Good. A bit disappointed I was charged extra for them to use one of their ladders. Never mentioned in quote. The job was to hand a chandelier, should have been mentioned in quote. $75 to use a ladder they had in the truck. And floor was scratched but I did not notice until they had left. However that being said they did a wonderful job and went above to get the fixture hung properly and safely."

"Derek and the folks at VHEC saved our Christmas! We lost power very suddenly during the night and next morning Duke Energy said we had to have our meter box replaced. I got VHEC’s name from the Angi app. Derek returned my call immediately and understanding the urgency of the situation he swung into action! They obtained the parts, replaced the box, coordinated all the necessary county permits and inspections and had my box ready for Duke to restore the power by 3pm. Getting all that completed in 5-hours during the week of Christmas was nothing short of a miracle. The fact that they are competent, prompt, have great follow through and are good people makes working with them even better. Don’t hesitate to call Derek and VHEC!"

"Vendor install a Honeywell 7200 series thermostat in my new home, but I decided to upgrade to a 6580 WiFi unit. I did all the work myself but couldn't get the A/C to work. I called Honey well who referrred me to Enhanced Heating and A/C. I called them at 3:45 PM on a Friday afternoon and got a live person who said someone will call me back after I presented the problem I had. Around 4 PM I got a call from Sean who helped me out with the wiring and the A/C is now working."

"Purchased Angie's Big Deal for 4 hours of home improvement/handyman services. Mr. John Schmidt, owner, showed up at the designated time to estimate our work for future scheduling, but when he saw the nature of the work, he requested to go ahead and get started and he would do the work right then. Working from our list of about 10 different repairs, small projects, and hanging light fixtures.
Mr. Schmidt was personal, professional, and very knowledgeable about the work we needed done and offered suggestions that improved the projects beyond our ideas.
If needed, we would certainly be willing to hire Innovative Design again to do larger projects/remodels, etc.
