"I want to thank my WestShore team of workers: designer Erica, team Larry, Kevin and Anthony that installed my beautiful walk in shower. They removed the ugly 40 year old shower to inside the walls and plumbing. I had complete peace of mind knowing that if they found any hidden surprises like moisture damage or plumbing problem that would be fixed and included in the contract price. So, no additional cost would be added. The work was outstanding. Work started at 8am and was completed by 6:45pm, and that included complete clean up and removal of old shower. A master plumber even showed up to inspect the plumbing upgrade...all included. After the contract was signed, a appointment for installation was secured for a few day later, and all work was completed in ONE DAY. I will be using WestShoreBath again when ready to replace our second bathroom."

"Two plumbing projects: install a whole house water filter system at the main water line and install a utility sink in the garage (install drain line, cold/hot water lines). The estimate process went well and very good price for work to be done. The estimator took detailed notes and pictures of the project area and material to be installed. The project was scheduled for two weeks after the estimate. Received a call in the morning of scheduled service stating I was the second call for the plumber assigned. Received call and text about 30 minutes prior to plumber showing up. The plumber assessed work and had to depart twice to get supplies. Completed the whole house water filter (replaced existing piping and valves, and installed new pipe and valves), and installed utility sink drain line, and installed cold water line, but did not install a hot water line, and said he would come back next day to finish. At noon the next day, I sent a text asking when he would be at my house and the company dispatch called and said the next opening would be next week. I am happy with the work and price, but the delay in completing work is a little frustrating. At least I can use the utility sink, cold water only, but it works until they can get back out to finish the job."

"Gabriel called me the next day after I called Angi. His price was significantly less than the other plumbing companies that Angi referred to me but the service was top notch. Gabriel went to work and spent a lot of time with the fixes to our home as we had a lot as our home that we bought was built in 1960. He had to change out a lot of the cast iron piping, figure out a blockage in our line going to the street, installed a clean out, and installed a new toilet where there was significant damage that I would not have been able to fix myself. He was also upfront about which fixes I could do myself and save costs which I really appreciated. He spent a few late nights working on our fixes, and his work ethic is really good. If you are looking for a good, honest plumber that does quality work to fix things at your home, then Gabriel is your guy. We definitely will be calling him, when we have plumbing needs in the future that we are not able to fix!"

"ASAP sewer and drain were fantastic! They fixed our main sewer line clog and explained to us what was causing the problem and kept the areas the worked in clean. They offered recommendations to prevent the issues from happening again in the future. We couldn’t be more happy with the services they provided and We highly recommend Them!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

No, you don’t need plumbing experience to install a faucet, but it can certainly help. As long as you have the right tools and materials, kitchen faucet installation is a manageable DIY project for people with the skills and patience to complete it.

Both plumbing inspection cost and length can vary widely based on the specifics of a property. For a larger home, historic home, or rental complex, a full plumbing inspection can take a full day. Put aside at least eight hours from the start of the visit to ensure that you'll be available to answer any of the plumber's questions. However, a thorough inspection of the average one-story to two-story home lasts just two to three hours.

Yes, copper pipes freeze at temperatures of 20 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. In fact, copper pipes are more likely to freeze than other piping types since they conduct energy and lose heat quickly. They’re also more difficult to insulate, since insulation may make it difficult for heat to reach the pipes during sudden surges of cold weather.

For most homeowners, a plumbing inspection costs $100 to $500. It depends on the location, the type of inspection, and the size of your home. A simple visual inspection will cost up to $200, while a camera inspection that checks your underground sewer lines can cost more than $1,000. Nonetheless, this may still be a better option than tearing up your underground plumbing to find the problem.

Fixing plumbing prevents water damage, conserves water potentially lost by leaks, and improves home convenience and efficiency.
