Recent Plumbers Reviews in Burlington

  • All-State Plumbing
    5.0
I needed a new garbage disposal installed. All-State Plumbing, the Angi recommended company, returned my initial call almost immediately. When I called again, they were also able to add on the repair of two wobbly toilets during the same trip. The quality of work was excellent and the areas were kept clean during and after the work. Michael took the time to explain and show me the problems that I had and what was being done to correct them. Michael was there on time and did an excellent job. I needed a plumber I could trust to do the job right and in a timely manner. Glad I found All-State Plumbing. I would definitely call them again

  • Re-Bath of the Triad
    5.0
Erika at Re-Bath of the Triad persisted and I am glad she did. Because I did relinquish and talk to their representative before I going ahead with the 24 hour "One Day" folks. I needed a complete remodel of my main floor bathroom, and I mean even the flooring. They actually gave me a stunning Full Bathroom remodel for Near the same price the other company was charging for a just a shower. And when Re-Bath of the Triad says, " down to the studs" THEY MEAN IT. I had bought the home in 1998 and it still had the pathetic, aged, bath surround and prior history of 2 failed toilet and sink installs. The dark , stunning flooring, the new vanity sink made of mahogany, the walk-in shower with Brazilian wood seat that folds up or down as needed. The Fixtures are fashionable as a well as dependably functionable. And the One fellow (Chris F.) is the maestro who masterfully handled the entire install. A true artisan /Craftsman. His attention to detail and pride in the job "BEST DONE" ..made me weep with happy tears. The walk-in shower is all a anyone could ever hope for.*The floor was taken down to the original 1905 beams .. and built back beautifully with dark flooring that I had chosen. I could see my cellar underneath. I have seldom been this delighted with an a man-made environment. But this is Everything

  • Quality Service Today Plumbing

They showed up on time and fixed my drain. They also used a camera to check the line and verify the clog wasn’t caused by an issue with my pipes. They were professional, knowledgeable and fairly priced. I would use them again and strongly recommend!

Nothing in my home was draining, so I called quality service today out, they sent out a technician who after further investigation determined that my septic tank was full, he was able to schedule me to get my tank pumped same day, Jeremy came out and did a thorough assessment of my septic system, offered me multiple options on different levels of cleaning and maintenance and has even set me up to have all the buried lines inspected via camera at no extra charge, these guys are the best, same day service by people you enjoy having in your home

Bathroom tub was leaking. Replaced elbow joint. It went very well. They told me what they found and showed me a picture of the leakage. They actually showed me the joint that they replaced. They told me what price would be before doing the work. I agreed. They did a great job. They also spent over two hours checking two toilets to see if there was a leak. They found that everything was fine. The leak was coming from the bathroom tub. They were very thorough and very pleasant and professional. I would Highly recommend them

  • Pure Properties LLC
    5.0
We are very impressed by the professionalism, and skill of Pure Properties. Our new home came with a miserable little bathroom with a plastic insert shower tub. Other generic quick installation shower companies were too expensive for the quality of work they advertise. We called Trever, and Pure Properties, to put in a walk-in floor-to-ceiling tile shower. He came within the week to talk with us about shower design, and installation. Trever made sure we knew exactly what construction and waterproofing was needed to change our tub to a shower with no surprise expenses. We were able to purchase our own large tile, and the tiler did a fantastic job with the tile design. Everyone who worked on our project was respectful of our time, and our home. Luis, Gio, Jesus, and Jean did a wonderful job! We appreciate all their diligence and hard work

  • Advanced Home Solutions
    5.0
Advanced Home Solutions was responsive, courteous, & professional from our initial communication. They scheduled a site visit to accommodate my schedule, which was of value to me, because of my work schedule. They inspected the issues that I asked them to take a look at, identified the cause of the problems, & proposed reasonable solutions to fix the issues & prevent the problems from reoccurring. Their pricing was fair, & their work was clean. I appreciated the way they addressed my service request with urgency & professionalism. I haven’t had any issues with the repairs, & they will be my go-to service provider for all things plumbing & general repair related going forward. I have recommended Advanced Home Solutions to 3 different colleagues already, & I will continue to refer them to anyone with home repair needs

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
