Work was done in 1.5 hours. I was charged $875 for work that could have been done for $200 tops.

Paid $310 to clean/open the sewer line. The line was still clogged. Wanted an additional $484 to jet the line open. I declined and hired another company to clean/open the line for $290. Line was cleaned and functional.

PF supplied two estimates: 1) repair existing faucet (~ $200), 2) replace with new faucet (about twice as much). I signed agreement to pay for repair. PF attempted to repair, and damaged the water pipe. As this meant more work to repair, in addition to a new faucet the cost was now almost $1000. I had no choice but to pay, as the water supply for the house had to be turned off. PF said they gave me a deal, as the only fixture they had in the truck that would work was a high quality fixture which they discounted. Photo is the original shower fixture. PF should have brought up this possibility, along with a cost estimate prior to any work being done. I would expect them, as experienced plumbers, to understand this possibility. Instead, they left me feeling I was played as a sucker.

The technician arrived with all the necessary equiptment, cleared the line and obtained video footage of the problem. The following week, a second technician arrived to determine the cause of the initial blockage so that the problem would not reoccur. He discovered that our clean out line (at the edge of the city sewer line) was never placed. He mapped it out for us at no cost and suggested we call the city to repair the line. They did, no extra cost. That technician saved us thousands of dolars with his suggestion. We will call them again for any plumbing needs.

I found the guys to be courteous, knowledgeable, caring and quite fun to talk with. Service was expensive, but there was a lot that had to be done and I felt like their work was totally worth the money.  Would recommend. Be aware that plumbing work often necessitates cutting into drywall and that plumbers are not responsible for fixing those cut-outs. That said, the guys did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Especially with respect to the clogged drainage pipe in the garage. I got the sense that it looked pretty bad in the middle of the process but I couldn't tell by the time I arrived home.

They responded in 3 days. It was one of those things, you call them on a Friday and Monday's are tough on a business because they have a lot of calls that are emergency type calls that they try to handle. And my particular situation, I was able to turn off the water and it wasn't the only toilet in the home so you could make do. They were able to come out and fix two specific problems that we had and everything worked out well.

Arrived on time, Was able to free stuck water supply connection. Connected a water supply for new washer. Had to wait over the weekend (no weekend appointments except emergencies). Would use again....
Note...
Workers from store where I bought washer were afraid to apply force. I too was afraid of harming plumbing.

Men showed up, examined the drains. Five minutes later, they went to the truck to write up the estimate. I had to prompt them for information on what the problem was. The gave two very expensive quotes, one including a biodegradable drain cleaner. They did not mention how the work would be done Due to frustration with problems finding time to have work completed (multiple reschedulings on both sides) and duration of slow drains in my home, I allowed the work to be completed. I was shocked when it was done less than 20 minutes later. The up side- the drains are currently working efficiently. The down side, paid over $300 dollars for less than 30 minutes worth of work. The men were not corteous, just came to do their job. Gave me a $10 coupone which is a joke as I will not be using this. My friend recommend them, but had never used their services. I would not recommend them.

They were referred to us by a couple different contractors, architects, and also their grade was good here on Angie's List. We had noticed some water spots on the ceiling between the first and second floor of the house. We initially called one plumber and they said that the problem was from one of the bathrooms' tub upstairs. He replaced the drain that he though was leaking and over the weeks after we noticed that the water stains were continuing to get larger. So we called PF Plumbing. They were supposed to come late in the day on Friday, but then they called and said they can come sooner, we said great and accepted. When they arrived they looked at the spots and looked upstairs and said they needed to cut away at the sheetrock. Initially he wore some bags over his shoes to not make a mess while walking around the house. Then when he told us what he thought needed to be done, we asked him some more questions about the cost and the procedure, and the more we asked so that we could better understand the more frustrated he became with us. Finally we said fine, do the work. He went out to his truck and came back with his ladder and saw and began to cut. But this time he had no covers on his shoes and he did not cover or ask us to move the area rug that was on the ground. When he cut open the ceiling water and junk fell out of the ceiling all over the rug, damaging it. We had to ask him several times to stop so that we can move the area rug and bring towels and buckets to put under him. As a "professional" he should have taken the preventive measures and had these things under his ladder just in case there was going to be water pouring out. He cut away and said that the leak was from the Jacuzzi upstairs in the master bathroom. We told him that it had not been used in 5+ years and this water leaking is too new to be from the Jacuzzi. We asked him if he was certain, and he kept insisting that it was, then we said do you not want to check the other leak spots to make sure it is not from somewhere else, he kept saying no and insisting that it is from this particular pipe/drain. We still did not understand why he thought it was only this pipe when the damage was all over the ceiling in different spots down the hallway. He did the drain replacement and got his money and he cleaned up with our help in clean up and he left. He said to leave the hole open so that the sheetrock and wood beams can dry off and he said that there will be some dripping from the wet sheetrock and wood beams and eventually it would stop. However, the leaking and dripping is coming still and it is coming every time we turn on the faucets and showers on upstairs, and not from the Jacuzzi. Obviously the problem is not fixed and we will contact them to either correct it or for a refund.

The longer the employee stayed and the more questions we asked so that we could better understand the situation and the problem the more he was getting frustrated. His behavior showed that we were keeping him from something else that he thought was more important to him. It is a shame that we had such a bad experience, because others that have rated them have given them great reviews.

They are wonderful. They did maintenance, plumbing and the installation work. They did a repair to a tankless water heater. They did repair work, new installations and major replacement work too. We had an office space that we turned into an apartment, so we had to replace all of the plumbing. We had to put in the shower, move things around, and make it into a residential bathroom. They installed three hose bibbs around the house and the garage. Then there was one repair that they did; there was a leakage from upstairs that came through the ceiling downstairs, and the water leaked throughout the house. The house was under warranty and 3 plumbers came with the warranty companies, and none of the three could solve the problem. Then, I called PF Plumbing and they fixed it immediately. They didn't think about what was wrong, but they just said it was the shower panel. They know what their doing. Overall, I rate them highly. They are wonderful. All the people there are very nice. I can leave the door open for these people and go out. The price is very reasonable. They do flat rate pricing where, if they are coming in to do a job, they tell you immediately how much it's going to cost, and it's not on an hourly basis. With regards to punctuality, if they are going to come over, they will give us a call. They also stand by their work. I can give an instance where they did some work and for one reason or another, there was a problem, and I brought this up with them and they agreed to come and fix it and that is exactly what they did, without haggling. I would use them again in the future.
