"I was a little annoyed that Home Advisor alerted several vendors without my approval. PK Plumbing was first and we hired them immediately. I have the other vendors the courtesy of a response, but it was a waste of my time and theirs."

"I used this company in the past but I don't think I left a review. When I first used this service, Tim Leonard responded and provided the plumbing service I asked for and the results were pleasing. I referred this company to my colleague and he was pleased as well. That said a lot as my colleague is familiar with building construction and plumbing and he was pleased, too. I was pleased."

"Wesley was amazing! I had surgery scheduled the next day and Wesley went ahead and used the key in the lock box to go in the house I just purchased and give me an estimate on my plumbing issue. He called me before my surgery. We agreed on the price and he did the work! About a week after my surgery he drove out of his way to met near my house where I paid him! He is my new plumber!!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Bypassing mandatory county permits during plumbing work creates severe insurance and title problems. Improperly connected or overloaded septic systems cause groundwater contamination and trigger strict local violations. Shortcuts in drain line slopes or venting lead to chronic blockages and sewer gas intrusion. Furthermore, failing to insulate and support pipes in Angier crawl spaces results in structural moisture damage and sudden winter pipe bursts.

Helpful?

Vented crawl spaces in older Angier homes create significant plumbing complexities due to high humidity, standing water, and pest intrusion. Exposed pipes in these spaces face severe freeze risks during late winter. Homes built between 1978 and 1995 feature failing polybutylene supply lines requiring full replacement. Additionally, expanding septic systems for new fixtures demands strict county environmental health approvals.

Helpful?

Proactively completing plumbing projects eliminates the risk of emergency pipe failures during hard freezes. Addressing defective polybutylene pipes prevents sudden water damage, ensuring your homeowner's insurance coverage remains intact across NC. Connecting to municipal sewer lines removes ongoing septic maintenance obligations. Properly permitted work significantly boosts your property resale value in the growing Angier market and protects the local groundwater supply.

Helpful?

Knowing whether your property relies on municipal utilities or private well and septic systems is crucial for any plumbing project. Identify your home's construction year, as houses built across NC during the 1980s and 1990s feature defective polybutylene pipes. Check if you have a crawl space, slab, or basement foundation. For septic properties, locate county records detailing the system age and size.

Helpful?

Start by deciding whether to pull Harnett County permits yourself or authorize a licensed contractor for your plumbing work. Confirm if your home uses the Town of Angier public water and sewer or a private well and septic system. This dictates utility involvement and necessary inspections. You must also coordinate scheduling to ensure completed work remains exposed for mandatory county inspections.
